The NHS was founded 78 years ago today. It was built after the devastation of the Second World War when the country was bankrupt - but when the people demanded a society built on fairness and dignity for all. Today, we must defend the right to healthcare and rebuild our social security system.

With 4 million children living in poverty in the UK, lifting the two-child limit still doesn’t go far enough. The UK Government need to end all policies that are keeping children in poverty, such as the benefit cap and sanctions.

We’re demanding justice for Iranians. Attacks on civilians in Iran, whether by Iranian authorities or directed by authorities in Washington or Tel Aviv, must be stopped. The UK government must intensify diplomatic efforts to help prevent further military escalation and protect civilians.
