Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 30/12/20251. Promise Mascot Agency. An easy 10/10 for me, it has charm, heart, goofy humour, and a swearing severed pinky finger who will forever be my favourite gaming companion. A delight from all angles, and a game that also nails humour perfectly. Can’t wait to replay this every year! 010
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 30/12/20252. Blue Prince. By the end, I had around 12 A4 pages of notes, I was so invested in this mystery. Of course the gameplay mechanics sing, but it’s that ongoing suspense, with drip-fed clues that kept me coming back. I’ve recommended this game to everyone I know, even those who don’t play games. 110
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 30/12/20253. Dispatch. What can I say that hasn’t already been said? Perhaps this, it’s very hard to do comedy well in games, but this was perfection. Teamed with plenty of emotion and terrific acting, everyone should play Dispatch, even if you have superhero fatigue. 100
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 30/12/20254. Öoo. Metroidvania puzzling presented in a cute package that belies the difficulty and fiendish challenge ahead. Creating something this deep using simple controls should be studied as a work of excellence. I wish I could play it fresh all over again. 100
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 30/12/20255. Ghost of Yotei. Adored the first game, I’d say this was better. The atmosphere is second to none, the exploration is pitch perfect, and the action is satisfying. Blockbuster gaming done right. 100
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 30/12/20256. Escape From Duckov. I’m a sucker for extraction shooters, and Duckov scratched that itch while bringing a silly aesthetic. Amazing to think that the genre could be distilled to this tight and engaging experience. 100
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 30/12/20257. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I wasn’t as enamoured as others but there’s no doubting the sublime story, gorgeous design, and knockout performances by a wonderful cast. 100
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 30/12/20258. Clover Pit. I was obsessed with this game for many days, trying out combos and attempting the hardest challenges because the gameplay loop is so engaging. A must play for roguelike/lite fans. 100
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 30/12/20259. Dead Take. Played it in one sitting and was blown away by the creepy procedural gameplay. Great acting, enough tension to keep you on the edge of your seat, and can be replayed for all the details. 100
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 30/12/2025Decided to lay out my top ten GotY list here… 10. Dune Awakening. Superb survival experience with a great atmosphere. Spoiled by a wonky endgame, but the journey was stellar. 232
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 22/12/2025Hey @mojangstudio.bsky.social and @xbox.com this is a really tasteless message to your players. Nobody should be made to feel they’re playing the ‘wrong’ way. So many people play Minecraft to ease their mental health worries, not have them amplified! Do better. (Image from Reddit) 141
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 15/10/2025This might be the best modern horror novel I’ve read in years. As someone who so rarely gets scared by horror, one scene had me feeling incredibly unsettled. And I’m only 120 pages in. 021
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 26/09/2025My best run of Clover Pit here. (It’s a truly brilliant game that hooks you with a Saw-style visit to a slot machine, and then delivers copious amounts of dopamine through roguelite elements) 000
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 16/07/2025I think it’s a testament to how good Word Play by @gamemakerstoolkit.com is, that I forgot I was boiling two eggs and they exploded, covering my kitchen in egg shrapnel! 030
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 30/06/2025If you see this, quote with the last four games you played. 020

Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 18/05/2025Seeing a PS5 dev kit in real life makes me wish even more that companies would take risks on the retail units 040
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 16/05/2025Saw some amazing things at CDPR and GOG. Words coming very soon! 010
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 06/05/2025Yeah, my mental health is fucking wrecked but I’ve built a cool Minecraft house, so, there’s that. 060
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 08/02/2025It has been 18 years since my daughter Amelia died at the age of 3. While time has healed me somewhat, the pain never fades. It has burrowed down into my marrow, and I long for the things missing since she passed. The loss of what could have been is a hurt that lingers every day. I miss her utterly. 6131
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 30/01/2025I’d saved over 250 hourglasses for the latest Pokemon TCG drop. Got lots of EX cards. Some highlights… 010
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 25/12/2024Went for a Malbec and I’m tucking into olives too (I hated olives until trying these) Lots of the Rings paused… Waiting for Doctor Who to start. #JoinIn 130

Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 18/12/2024I did not hit my reading goal target this year, but I did read some pretty great books. 000
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 12/12/2024Apparently it’s the 20th anniversary of the PSP. What game do you think of when you see this beauty? Had to be Patapon for me. Or Crisis Core. 010
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 10/12/2024This is pretty good considering I stopped using Twitch about 5 months ago (I used to watch while working, now I can’t focus if it’s on) Nice to see @thepoolshark.bsky.social as my top channel again. 000
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 03/12/2024Happy birthday PlayStation! The original console was the thing that turned gaming from a hobby into a full-fledged passion. And honestly, it was all thanks to this one disc. 020
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 27/11/2024You: What’s that you’re playing on the Nintendo Switch there? Me: Mahjongus. Just straight up jorkin’ Mahjongus. 210
Dannnnn @amisma.bsky.social · 26/11/2024Spent the last few evenings building this little guy. And I love him now. He is my son. 270
