On March 20, the Israeli government voted to remove Ronen Bar from his position as the head of Shin Bet following Prime Minister Netanyahu’s statement that he had lost trust in Bar. @amichaic.bsky.social and Yuval Shany write that this attempted removal could spark a constitutional crisis.
