I've been haunting other places recently, like Vegas and Napa. But I've been doing well. 👍

It's so weird I don't think I've ever been more excited to look for a job than now but my stupid health is holding me back still. I literally just want to apply for a part time job or even volunteering ... But I need to be well enough first.

Surgery recovery has been a bitch. It's March now and I've still not fully healed. Realized the past few weeks I essentially had internal tearing that never was healing so that was fun. But mental energy is coming back here and there. Hopefully this is the last push.

The Internet itself has made it so talking about suicidal thoughts is even more taboo. However it's not something that we should be censoring. It's just a response. (1/2)

Yeah, as you said the climate also is perfect for it. Nomoheroes popped off when people were sick and tired of Squeaky Clean Black and White good guy fights Bad Guy narratives/marvel ass stories dominating the video game market. So I wonder if it too will have a revival...

Amiable-apparition @amiableapparition.bsky.social · 05/02/2026

It's also suda's most narratively heavy/ "easiest" to play games? It's not a gunner like killer7/shadows of the damned or action like nomoheroes. Which I can also see driving a wider audience. It's insanely stylish. It's different from most VNs. If ppl liked disco Elysium they'd like it etc etc

Amiable-apparition @amiableapparition.bsky.social · 05/02/2026

It was effectively a "only heard of/always wanted to play but how?" series for me for a long time and only got whiffs of it from other titles until the port. So I'm actually incredibly happy it's become available for a wider audience.

110

Amiable-apparition @amiableapparition.bsky.social · 05/02/2026

Switch port, absolutely. It was incredibly obscure/older suda title until it got it's recent port/revival. That's not to say like a good suda title it's not got its timeless messages as you say.

What's wild to me was the advice given to me was "you will get hired back more often if you are easier and consistent to work with than if you are an incredible artist". The industry is tired of "late, mean, but 'incredibly talented'". They just want you to do your job, please.

Dunno if I ever posted this but it feels just as relevant again. Personal comic about growth and perseverance (1/2)

The older feels more "on model" and round but I love the angularity and style of the newer one. It feels like it has its own identity more. He feels a lot more fun!!

The DND campaign I've been DMing for almost 2 years now wrapped tonight. It's been an absolutely insane journey, and I'm thankful for the friends who were there along the way. Hoping the next is shorter lol, but I learned a lot.

Give yourself something to look forward to next year. Something less substantial than a resolution which can carry regret if you can't stick to it. Think of a book you want to read, a genre of music you'd like to learn more about, a curiosity to chase no matter how trivial. Keep your spark lit.

Better schedule for myself for working on my projects than before. 2025 was the year I had to focus entirely on healing and bettering myself, and that's something important. The rest of my life will be better and stronger because of what I did this year.

Amiable-apparition @amiableapparition.bsky.social · 31/12/2025

Physical and mental health reasons made me have to pause working on art and many of my projects for most of this year. Next year it feels in some ways like "starting over" but that's not a bad thing either. Ill be able to start a new streaming channel, have a better office now, and create a -

Oh oh my god he says "mighty swing" not Spidey swing. And shield skills, not charging star........ No. He's absolutely just making stuff up. Incredible.

"Spidey swing" and "aim of the Hawkeye" to be fair sound incredibly fake hahahaha

The fact he can copy the moves but has no idea what they're called is amazing. Now I'm convinced everything he says in mvc3 is just something he made up for each of the moves........
