All the Jax and Petra Parker fanart have been so heartwarming and inspiring, it's giving me an itch to learn how to draw & share those feelings. Any good art tutorials for total novices?

Marathon has some of the highest highs and lowest lows I've experienced in a PvP game. Going on a losing streak hurts when you return and see your vault dwindling, but winning big? Feels like pulling off the heist of a lifetime.

Alright, I learned my lesson. I'll pace myself with new releases to make time for streaming and posting. I'll only spend an hour or two on DK Bananza and No Sleep for Koname Date, and then I'll... Wait, where did the week go?

Between administration's decision to remove the Trevor Project from its crisis hotline and today's SCOTUS ruling, it's going to be rough for queer people, and trans kids specifically. Please, check in with your friends and loved ones, they could use someone to talk to.

2 weeks ago: I should set aside more time to draft posts and stream now that I'm done practicing. I'll set up a schedule and -oh, Hundred Line came out? What's the harm in picking it up? I can pace myself and manage my time effectively. There'll still be time to stream! Today: so that was a lie.

Erin's got a great post/thread about today's HHS report, highly recommend taking a look at it. She does a great job walking through through the biggest talking points here, and her substack is a great place to check out if you're looking to learn about issues affecting the trans community.

Thanks so much for the joining tonight's charity stream I had a ton of fun hunting with @grachay.bsky.social, and I'm super grateful for everyone chipping in to raise $110 for the Trevor Project! As an extra token of appreciation, here's some photos of Sena being adorable.

Hey Pokémon trainers! Currently workshopping a drought team for Reg G and I'm looking for advice. I've had a lot of success with Groudon and Raging Bolt, plus Iron Boulder, Amoonguss and Okidogi work as counters to some meta 'mons. I haven't gotten a ton of use out of Chandelure. Any suggestions?

Okidogi: Guard dog, Tera Poison, Life Orb, Upper Hand, Poison Jab, Close Combat, Protect
Groudon: Drought, Tera Fairy, Assault Vest, Earthquake, Heat Crash, Tera Blast, Rock Slide
Amoonguss: Effect Spore, Tera Water, Leftovers,, Spore, Rage Powder, Synthesis, Clear Smog
Raging Bolt: Protosynthesis, Tera Flying, Weakness Policy, Discharge, Weather Ball, Solar Beam, Protect
Iron Boulder: Quark Pulse, Tera Grass, Booster Energy, Electric Terrain, Sacred Sword, Solar Blade, Mighty Cleave
Chandelure: Flash Fire, Tera Grass, Choice Scarf, Heat Wave, Fire Blast, Energy Ball, Shadow Ball

Apropos of nothing, now's as good a time as any to check in with your loved ones. If you're scared and no one around you seems to recognize it, it can feel maddeningly isolating. Talk can't fix every problem, but a good heart-to-heart can make you feel less alone.

Don't listen to bullies. Don't listen to that pit in your stomach. It doesn't matter who you were born to, or where you born, or any of that. You're valued, end of. I'll keep doing my best and speaking up. If the next administration doesn't like that, they'll have a hard time shutting me up.

Have you ever had a favorite character get completely outclassed by a newcomer? I'll start: Loved Flygon back in Gen 3. Great typing, nice spread, sweet design. Then Garchomp one ups it in every way! Better stats, actually useful abilities, and a memorable spot on Cynthia's team! Credit: Serebii

Flygon, a Gen III Ground/Dragon Type Pokemon with the Levitate ability. This helps it avoid ground type attacks that wouldn't really hurt it anyway.

Flygon's base stat spread: 80 HP, 100 Attack, 80 Defense, 80 Sp. Attack, 80 Sp. Defense, and 100 Speed. A respectable, well rounded build.

Garchomp, a gen IV Ground/Dragon Pokemon. It defaults to the Sand Veil ability, which can come in handy on sand teams. Alternatively, its hidden ability Rough Skin can apply chip damage to physical attackers, and seriously punish chain attackers like Maushold or M. Kangaskhan.

Garchomp's stat spread: HP-108, Attack-130, Defense-95, Sp. Attack-80, Sp. Def-85, Speed-102. It meets or exceeds Flygon in every category. A 2 point speed difference doesn't sound like much, but when a Pokemon can land a KO in 1-2 moves acting first matters!
