A lot of articles I read worry over the idea of AI becoming sentient and wiping out humanity. At the rate things are going, AI software will probably wipe us out just because of a glitch in the model. No sentience required. Survivors (if any) will call it the worst computer glitch in history.

The rental car I picked up for the month last night has one of those features where if you stop at a light long enough, the engine shuts off, then starts automatically when you press the gas to go. I feel like that would wear it or the starter out faster. Am I wrong? #cars #autos
