She’s going to LOVE queen I just know it! Hands down best antagonist of the game imo. Bex and I will be waiting patiently in the wings to scream POTASSIUM at her 😂

Got my lil sis round for a few days to try & cheer her up after her diagnosis (MS for those who missed my last post about it) Kept things low energy w/ takeout & Krispy Kreme’s. She loves Undertale but never played Deltarune so she completed CH1 tonight. Cant wait for her to meet Queen tomorrow 😂

Minigolf 3.0 just dropped, now with double the number of levels! Seeing the levels I’ve crafted with love from start to finish finally being in the game (and decorated so awesomely by the art team) is an incredible feeling!! Let me know what you all think of the Squid Game Dorms 👀

Had a practice run at hand painting a resin gem for the #fursuit comm I’m working on. Aside from needing brighter reds, I think this came out well for someone who isn’t arty/doesn’t fully understand colours & shading! The gloss finish makes it pop too! Gonna add a few more coats tomorrow! 💎

I was going to stop at 9pm and then I blinked and two more hours had passed 😬

000

Iolus | AmethystDerg | ThatPurpleDerg @amethystderg.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I did! I’ve been sipping at my emotional support water bottle full of ice water and Bex made me some foods and brought me some snacks throughout. I did also have an hours nap on my lunch break 😂

Small win! My contract has been extended to the end of the year! Still no word from the new studio on whether we’re being kept on through 2027 or not, but this is a start!

It’s that time of year where I’m getting the typical ‘person looks at “boo” Halloween decor and ends the video with a cut off scream’ jokes and I unapologetically love them every year 😂 Something about my sense of humour is broken

Thanks Emily 💜 For my MH's sake I need the legal stuff to be sorted asap so we finally get an answer. Need to know if I should be looking for another job :/ I don't want to, I'd rather stay with the og studio on new projects, or at least with this new studio on Minigolf. I just have to be patient...

So my contract’s been extended from Sept30 to Oct30 Bad news is the agency I got hired through wont be taking over the game This means the company that has been chosen may keep me on, or they may have their own designers Waiting for behind the scenes legal stuff before we get told anything else…

Am I getting better at making TikTok videos? Marginally… 😂 Anyways I’m still selling these premade handpaws if anyone’s interested! Discounted to £180 (+shipping) for what a pair with these features would normally cost 💜 Shipping to UK only - Sorry!

I’m also just having a bad day at the end of a rough week of constant bug fixes, therefore my regular schedule gets interrupted every 20 minutes for a new issue (which AuDHD hates greatly) so I’m all outta funk in general. Hopefully sleep tablets can kick in, knock me out & I’ll try again tomorrow

Iolus | AmethystDerg | ThatPurpleDerg @amethystderg.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Sometimes they can do, most of the time it’s just blind panic until 24 hours before, then I cram every second into finishing the thing then hating myself for it

Youre absolutely right, my brain is louder. What I wouldn’t give for it to shut up too 😅 And yeah I’ve been trying to do small steps, but they’re fursuit comms so I can’t undo a mess or error quite as easy, which is don’t want to happen just because I’m stressed about it 🥲

Iolus | AmethystDerg | ThatPurpleDerg @amethystderg.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

ADHD executive dysfunction GFY… got stuff to do & comms to make & I’m getting DM’d by lovely folks who wanna know when my comms are opening again & half of my brain is like “oh shi I gotta finish what I have before a backlog forms” but then that pressure makes brain refuse to do anything… aaaaa-

It’s been one of those days where I’ve been non stop & worked through my lunch & don’t OT but got nothing on my job list done cause today wa “everything’s-full-of-bugs-that-need-fixing-before-tomorrow” day… Bright side I was praised on slack for my work on some new levels I can’t talk about 👀 🥰

Iolus | AmethystDerg | ThatPurpleDerg @amethystderg.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Having seen a closeup now, I do think that Links clothes are a bit “busy” to the eye. The idea behind having woven leaf clothes etc is incredible & the rest of the art style is amazing! Most folks complaining aren’t going to see them that close up/detailed while playing anyways. They’ll get over it

It’s a sad day when I have to block the word Spyro from socials in anticipation of more Spyro ARB news on his birthday. I wanna see it but also I wanna avoid everything because I want to explore this new game with the childlike wonder and unknowing that I had as a kid in the 90’s It pains me!

Iolus | AmethystDerg | ThatPurpleDerg @amethystderg.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Happy Birthday Spyro!!! Your games kept my childhood bursting with fun and adventure beyond my wildest imagination! They, and you, continue to inspire me to be the best level designer I can be! 💜 I cant wait to see where @tfbgames.bsky.social take us next in the Realm Beyond! 🔥💎

Some POC have also noted that even the version spelled with a p can be problematic as it derived from the original word, similarly to how adding ”tard” to the end of other words as an around to using the the r slur is also frowned upon. Try creepy, scary, frightening, horrifying etc

Thanks lovely, she’s not been feeling well for a while now so went for an MRI. Was fearing the worst, and while it’s not that, MS isn’t exactly a riveting consolation prize either :/

There’s something INCREDIBLY satisfying about thinking to myself “I’m so bad at making my seam allowance even, I wish there was a tool to make it easier…” to printing said tool(s) for free on the 3D printer in literally 10 minutes 🤯
