Day 5 - Smack Was clearly intended to be, like, a slap, but I had gay thoughts in the middle

Windsong (gray, curly hair, wearing a white shirt) hugging and kissing Vila (straw blonde hair with a couple of white flowers, wearing a brown jacket and a white shirt under). Both are from Reverse 1999

Currently trying the demo of this game called Dungeon Automata, which is a Dungeon Crawler that plays automatically where the whole gameplay is you programming action nodes for each character to execute... concept fucks a lot and the demo does too, I highly suggest giving it a try!!

Cover of the upcoming game Dungeon Automata, featuring a thief covered by a cloack, a mage with a pointy hat, and a priest with a crystal on her hands. In the background there is a knight, but its cropped. They are surrounded by goblins. The whole scene is in black-and-white pixel art

Reply with ☕ & I will give you a letter to list your 4 favorite characters! The frame 0 pick of Sorawo and Shijima was very funny ngl (sorry Sorawo there wasn't a single image from the novel where you were crystal clear while not looking like a goofy mf)

Shannon from Umineko. She has short, light brown hair, blue eyes and she is dressed as a maid with a puffy white hat

Saga from Arknights. She has long, black hair, orange eyes and shiba inu-like hears on top of her head

Shijima from Shimeji Simulation. She has long, black hair, blue eyes and a couple of small mushrooms on the left side of her head

Sorawo Kamikoshi from Otherside Picnic. She has short, black hair, glasses, a blue eye and a brown eye, in the image tho it's all black and white)

on better news tho, after a cancelled shipment and a scam, Omnibus 1 of Otherside Picnic has FINALLY arrived! Now that I have all of them, I can commence the re-read at once

Cover of the Light Novel "Otherside Picnic - Omnibus 1", featuring the protagonists Sorawo (brown short hair, brown and blue eyes with glasses) and Toriko (long blonde hair, blue eyes) wielding guns and appearing through a normal door, while surrounded by a wheat field in the place focus of the entire novel, the Otherside

You do not recognize the Umas in the water

Drawing showing a misty lake with an island. Floating above the water is the umamusume Aston Machan (red-white dress, brown hair, with a crown on her head), partially covered by the fog. In the foreground is the hand and golden rings of another umamusume, Vodka, gripping a broken and rusty fence, while on the ground is visible a rusted "risk of drowning" sign.

I cup my hands around my eyes — as if make-believe binoculars could somehow improve my vision — and lean out over the fence. There's definitely something bobbing about the surface. It…fuck. It looks like there's someone out there?

As much as I want to turn away, I can't. I'm frozen to the spot, precariously hanging over the fence. There's something about her. Something familiar? That red figure…

We met at the Tracen Academy for the first time. She was always so patient and caring. Took a trip with me and several of my classmates to the summer camp during Senior Year. We shared our first kiss during the fireworks display on the third night. I…made some dumb promises I knew I couldn't keep…

The freezing water is around my ankles now. With each step I can feel the ground below getting further away…up to my thighs, and I'm already shivering. My heart begins to drop. Something is wrong.

I'm slowly moving out towards her…I can help. It doesn't have to be this way. We can all make it out of here.
Up to my chest.
Up to my neck.
It's too late now. I can't find the bottom, I can't gain a footing. I'm choking on the water, I'm starting to flail again.

In her arms now.

I can see her face.

I recognize her.

I know her.

We're finally together.

She's been waiting for me for so long.

How could I have forgotten?

Forgotten?

Why would they do that to us?

How could they?

They can't do that.

They can't leave us here.

You can't leave me here.

Backrooms In itself it was fine, nothing really to write home about even though for being the first movie of Kane Parsons it was quite impressive. I just find the concepts in it more interesting than the movie itself, but that was also kinda the point probably.

Noroi the Curse ok so, I personally still appreciate Occult a little bit more than Noroi mainly because I feel like the horror it presents is slightly more "grounded". That being sad, absolute banger of a found footage movie. I'm finding myself in general being extremely compelled by the...

(kind of in a horror movie spree rn lmao) Strange Harvest The trigger warning people gave about his movie were very much accurate, the violence was at moments seriously foul, but it's probably one of the best cosmic horror film I've ever seen. If you can stomach all of that, I highly recommend it

Creep For how simple the premises (and honestly the rest of the story) are, it was an AMAZING time, unnerved tf out of me in more than one scene, jfc. I know it also spawned a franchise, but honestly I'm good with it, I strongly feel like the "less is more" effect really applies here

Altered States I've ended up disliking this one quite a bit. The vision scenes peaked my interest a lot during its duration, but I found the ending really dull and the rest of the story was boring at best. I'll probably just remember those parts and then forget about everything else ngl
