There is bipartisan concern about ICE’s crackdowns, which have created widespread fear: Many immigrants are afraid to take their kids to school or go to work. ICE is avoiding transparency about its actions. We’re fighting to expose what ICE is doing. subscriber.politicopro.com/article/2026...

We already know that Donald Trump allegedly took records tied to his business interests and others so highly classified that they were shared with only six individuals.

Volume I of Smith’s report, on Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election, was released in January 2025. Volume II, on Trump’s handling of highly classified documents, remains blocked from public release by a judge in Florida. The public needs to see the second report.

Yesterday, former Special Counsel Jack Smith testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about his investigations into Donald Trump. But a critical part of what his team uncovered remains hidden from the American people.
"I hope that we can let the country see your work product and see the release of the second volume of your report. You can't testify about that today because Judge Cannon doesn't want you to.  Her decisions have just bent over backwards to do service for the President." -- Sen. Adam Schiff, September 29, 2026

That work did not survive the change in administration. According to ProPublica, Trump appointees ordered prosecutors to halt new corruption cases in early 2025. Then, the New York Times reported that FBI officials shut down the specific inquiry into Senator Collins.”
