The boards arrived here last week, i've been doing the rounds testing them and i'll probably write a blog post about it since it's too much for a bluesky post but the verdict is, yes they work but i fucked up the BOM for one component (not necessary for it to work but for some functions it is) 🙃

new board in the works! nrf52840 battery powered thermostat with eink display and rotary encoder for control. The final idea is to have multiple of these in different rooms to regulate temperature in each, using Matter for wireless control through HA.

here's the board(s) i was talking about :3 codenamed tulip for now, we're working on a mod chip for the xbox 360, this is the first prototype devboard. Surprisingly i only fucked up the crystal footprint and nothing else.

when we tried powering on this board for the first time before the rgh3, it would short the PSU and my first guess was an issue with the capacitors being fucky (i had suggested removing one of the most obvious leaky caps, which we did but to no success). Weeks another cap had turned into this.

RGH success! me and @luxploit.net successfully RGH'd a Jasper xbox 360. The "first" attempt didn't go anywhere, with an ace v3. Our 2nd attempt was a success! using a matrix glitcher chip and the same wiring used for the ace v3 + pulling the clock from the Hana.

my HP laptop we've successfully installed MacOS Ventura on in the past few days, together with @luxploit.net and help from the hackintosh wizard @localcc.bsky.social WiFi - Bluetooth work, webcam, trackpad, keyboard, gpu accel. So far it's been a very smooth experience!

the camera "works" now, although only in manual mode.. not sure where i messed up but CPU lenses are not recognized, so no auto, aperture, etc. modes for me
