The magical forest of Puzzlewood evoked mixed emotions in me. There is something deeply English about the place that touched my soul. 🫶 On the other hand, it was eerily quiet, and there were moments when I felt as though I was being watched. 👻 #booksky #writerslife #novelist #creative

Summer draws to a close and autumn approaches. Many thoughts are running through my mind. 🤔 Two of the three books in my trilogy have now been published. I’m proud to have achieved all this. One of the places I really wanted to visit was Glastonbury Tor. St Michael’s Tower, which stands on the striking hilltop, has featured in films and music videos (Sting’s “If I Ever Lose My Faith”). 😇 I feel privileged to be able to live in England, surrounded by this unique, magical landscape! 🤩

I went to the Eboracum Roman Festival in York, and I'm glad I did. It was an important part of my research for "The Hostage of Camelot". 🧐 A big thank you to the re-enactors who brought the past to life with their homemade armour and weapons! The Celts and the Romans I met were quite sexy. 😘

When writing romantasy, few things inspire me more than mystical, ancient forests. 🍄 Puzzlewood near Gloucester is a prime example of this; it has already served as a filming location for numerous films and TV series. 🧙‍♂️ Its unique, enchanted atmosphere is hard to describe. #booksky #writerslife

With only a few days to go until my book is published, I’m incredibly excited. 😅 What if people don’t even notice my book? What if they don’t like it? But I’ve done my best, and I’m sure readers will fall in love with the heroine, Emma, just as I did while writing it. 💖 #booksky #writerslife #novel

Where was the real-life location of King Arthur’s castle, Camelot? 🤴 Several places in the UK make this claim. Tintagel in Cornwall is a leading contender. The ruins are spectacular and the view is breathtaking. I'm so glad I came! 🤯 #booksky #writerslife

My first trilogy of novels centres on the legendary King Arthur and his Round Table. We all know the story. However, I’m retelling it with a bit more spice! 😜 Here I am on a walking trip to the Westbury White Horse. There’s something truly enchanting about this beautiful landscape. 😇 #booksky
