Meet Alan, my Amber Isle character! He’s the product of a month of work, I think he turned out pretty cute! 🦖 #art #amberisle

A sculpture of a lime green anthro Spinosaurus, with dark green spots and red sails. He is wearing a denim long-sleeve button-up shirt under a khaki vest, with a red bandana around his neck.

Since sinosauropteryx played such an important role in modern Paleontology, we thought it'd be apt for our sino to be a scientist! Barnaby is an archaeologist and Amber Isle's museum curator. He'll help you discover and display historical artefacts on your island!

0262

Ambertail Games 🔶 Amber Isle OUT NOW! @ambertailgames.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

Since we know so much about sinosauropteryx's appearance and colouration in life, Barnaby was fairly straightforward to design! We know he had to be orange-brown, with countershading making the underbelly lighter. And of course the tail - long and banded with white stripes!
