Spooky season arrives! Well, spooky season for a prop maker started a month ago, I've been neck deep in halloween orders for weeks!

Costumes like this exist because it's the beginning of October and it's still 100 degrees out. Mental note, make more Star Wars cosplays for hot weather...

I haven't posted Rio in a while! I'm so sorry, every one deserves more blue twi'leks in their life.

It's really hot, can I just spend the whole summer in the pool? 🥵 I haven't shot any new summer looks yet, still getting back into the swing of things, so have an oldie-but-goodie of #Starfire . Summer's not over yet, any character requests? #starfirecosplay #dccosplay #bodypaintcosplay

Happy #twilektuesday ! Calling all Twi'lek siblings, tag me in your #twilekcosplay posts, so I can see your amazing work! (Or share them in the comments, or DM them to me, whichever!) I may even feature some of them in the coming weeks while I'm still prepping my next big Twi'lek shoot. 💙💙💙

They are, about 2x the weight, but also because they're longer they're easier to tuck around the neck to get weight off onto my shoulders... So I actually find them EASIER to wear lol

Rio with short lekku versus Rio with long lekku I obviously love them both but those of you who like the short lekku should stick around and probably subscribe to my mailing list on my website For, y'know, REASONS :D #starwars #twilek #twilekcosplay #lekku #cosplay

She used to be just flat black and gold - one of the things I've learned and improved on is adding other flattering colors like dark metal colors that heighten the color scheme and give it depth 💕

Oh I made another :3 This is the basic option, gonna add more decorations and trophies for me! Revamping my #Nautolan #Mandalorian into a Pantoran. Sorry to see Ori go but excited to keep doing charity work with the MMC as Ve'vutta!

Real talk, I both love and dread custom commissions for people. A large part of my ADHD is RSD so I'm always so anxious about making something new or unique for someone.... But gosh when they look amazing and I helped them do that and they love what I made them that high is SO MIGHTY ✨✨✨✨

030

Amber Brite Props @amberbriteprops.bsky.social · 10/01/2025

Yeah! I think it adds a nice level of detail and depth to armors, plus lets you put a personalized touch or throw back to your character's story. Like this Mandalorian is a lone gun who takes trophies from his enemies, so I tried to give it a western-y feel with the colors and coins and such. <3

"Closet Cosplays" are fun when you've been cosplaying as long as I have. This #Fearne #closetcosplay uses pieces from FOUR previous cosplays I've done as well as softparts put together for $20. Can you spot all four? The wig is from my Starbucks-chan cosplay lol. #critrole #critrolecosplay #cosplay

I LOVE seeing how different people solve the issue of how to deal with fleshy head tentacles getting all up in the way 🤣🤣🤣 One of the coolest parts of cosplay is seeing how even "the same" cosplays are different even in small ways.

So often it's down to three or four people who are all REALLY GOOD but there's only one or even two prizes. I wish I could give prizes to all the good cosplays - though then I'd give a prize to literally every cosplayer, because any cosplayer who steps out on stage has already done something badass!
