Alexander Cameron was born in Inverness in 1890 and worked as a clerk with the Highland Railway. After emigrating to Canada, he worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway. In #WWI he joined the 24th Battalion Canadian Infantry. He was killed in action on 29 September 1916 [photo: Sandy Cameron]
