The best thing and most important thing about it all is being comfortable, if you're not comfortable then there's something wrong.

I'm not sure how to start a community but if you're wanting to get into it in general, my best advice would be to go cheap at first just to see if you like it, a lot of masks cost a lot these days especially the body suits (hadatai), don't rush into it either, it's good to do research beforehand.

It feels very therapeutic once I get to do it, just a feeling of being encased is something that can help with stuff like anxiety. But yes just being someone else can be enough and obviously cosplaying a character is too.
