I want more people talking about this. I have even discussed this with my agent and my editor. It is literally ONLY Black writers being accused of using AI and losing MILLIONS of dollars while having their names defamed when: 1. There is no definition of what “using AI” is in literature

Same for juvenile detention. Our child was unfortunately involved but we fortunately could afford the bill. I worry about families without our resources.

she’s just trying to convince MN she won’t try to overturn our constitution. Best thing Tim Walz did in his first two years when the governor house and Senate were all democrat was amending our constitution to enshrine those protections.

sick fucks like you have no problem with billionaires hoarding resources while people in this country go homeless. Sick fuck like you support dehumanizing policies. Criminals in government didn’t get where they are alone - they got there because sick fucks like you supported them.

and see here’s where you’re wrong -you are opinion is that everybody who’s homeless is a drug addict. That is not a fact. And guess what? Drug addiction is an illness the same as cancer. They deserve to be housed. What the fuck is wrong with you people?

The Sandy Hook bit is the biggest bit of misinformation our media has done. If you wanna talk about gun reform, after Sandy Hook Connecticut passed bipartisan gun reform. Sandy Hook is not an example of people not doing anything about gun laws. It is an example of successful gun reform.

Server prices went up exponentially and they likely can’t justify the cost of AI anymore because they haven’t figured out a way to make money from it.

amatetic @amatetic.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
The cost to build the hardware to run AI is astronomical. I think they’re looking for a reason to stop that doesn’t include they screwed up. Server costs have gone up exponentially. It’s kind of like the Cold War US versus USSR. We kept building shit until we bankrupted the USSR.

had we set the same precedent other countries had done and tried President Nixon for his crimes, I don’t think any of the stuff that came after would’ve happened. We would’ve had Reagan on the Iran Contra. And perhaps Trump knowing he could be tried would never have run.

amatetic @amatetic.bsky.social · 19/09/2026
IMO the biggest problem is mythology. For some reason it became an unwritten tradition that you couldn’t try a president for his crimes without demeaning the office. Which is why President Ford pardoned Nixon. That was the first step.

very good points-it also explains why you don’t see Ivanka at all during this administration. Maybe they’re hoping to grab back some Republicans who hated her father and want to make sure she’s not tainted so to speak because they know her father has a toxic brand at this point.

if you’re interested just search Minnesota projects domestic fertilizer nitrogen and ammonia. I think the company that relocated here is called pivot and they are looking at microbial fertilizer

A lot of of it’s coming out of the university of Minnesota but we recently had a business relocate to our state and I think one of their projects is synthetic nitrogen fertilizer. I’m wondering how close we are to it being a reality.

Minnesota has multiple projects in the works in order to create non-oil based domestic fertilizer. Maybe now is a good time to look at some of those projects.

I just got done reading Dead Dead Girls by Neksa Afia. It was a hard read for me. The racism the Black protagonist dealt with on a daily basis seemed weirdly casual to me until I realize that that was just the daily experience of surviving while Black. Hopefully, I am now educating my heart.

I’ve also watched politics since my first election with Clinton. Your way doesn’t work either. Because I’ve been waiting 40 years and during that timeframe watched your playbook. Does this mean I’m not voting for Democrats? No it doesn’t. But it does mean they’re going to get fucking pressured

buying into the concept of far left is also a moronic move. I’ve been waiting for basic things that are normal Europe for my entire working life and now I’m 10 years from retirement and my kid isn’t even going to get these benefit. Quit buying into corporate bullshit that we can’t win these things.

I am 52. and I am confident that this midterm we will do the same as we did the last time Trump was in office which is to send all three branches of our government to the Democrats. But we’re also doing the progressive politics the rest of the country seems to be afraid of.

it’s really safe to say that from a position of somebody not being hurt by the current administration. However I live in MN. We have had two assassination attempts, one successful, on our elected representatives. We have had two people standing up to ice who were killed. The status quo doesn’t work.

“far left” to you is middle of the road in the rest of the world. We will not even begin to regain our world standing if they do not see that our system is strong enough to punish a coup. And things like universal healthcare and spending tax money on actual taxpayers shouldn’t be controversial

I worked in an IT support center. I remember it was a work day. We were in the Central time zone & the entire floor was eerily quiet. No phones ringing, like it was a weekend. Slow internet speeds so it took time to find out what was going on. Then people told us to get to the break-room TVs.

i’m confused by the color for the state of Minnesota. The last time Trump was in office, Minnesota turned over all three branches of government to the Democrats. I don’t see this time being any different. We’ve never handed any electoral votes to Trump.

The image is of a four panel comic.
In the first panel we see a dragon sitting on a pile of treasure. A speech bubble pointing off panel reads, “Dragon, why do you have all this treasure?”
In the second panel we zoom in on the dragons face. He simply says “shiny”.
In the third panel we pan to the left and see that there is a crow standing next to the dragon on the treasure.
In the fourth panel we zoom in on the crows face. He says “hell yeah”.
