Chapter One
“Are you ready, Los Angeles?!” I yelled. My favorite Britney song was on the radio. There was only one solution - an impromptu VIP concert for my stuffed animals, especially Sterling Bear. I grabbed my hairbrush and started singing along. I made up moves and choreography in my room. I pointed out a stuffed animal if I heard “you” in the song, making it extra special. Maybe I was singing about them. I strutted around my room giving my best walk in high heels without tripping over my moving boxes. However, I could barely dance in an a-line skirt. Nor did I want to break a sweat.

“Celine!”

I thought I heard my mom, but we have a bridge and one more chorus left.

And the bridge was the best part of this song. I got on my knees and pretended to give my best vocal belt. The sunrise peaked through my curtains and became my spotlight.

“Celine, are you gallivanting?”
“Just give me a minute, mom!”
