It's been a 6 year process and very very slow response from the doctors and surgeons. The biggest issue is that Poole, Bournemouth and Portsmouth hospitals won't bloody talk to each other and share information! Meanwhile the kids have almost lost their Mom 4 times. Not that I've told them.

Apologies friends, I'm exhausted. My wonderful Wife is still in the hospital and we still don't know what's wrong. She lost a lot of blood and was very ill, she's now stable. I'm traveling 110 each visit to see her, whilst keeping house and dealing with my own disability.

#Men hug your wives and partners. You do not realise just how precious they are or how much they do for you and your family until they're gone. With Mrs Welch in and out of hospital I've been doing my best to be "Mom" but I'm not up to her standards. It's amazing how fast things go to shit!

My son and daughter attend SEN colleges and schools. We have a taxi provision for my daughter but the one for my son was taken away. That means I've had to drive him. 70 miles per day. The new changes to Motability allow me only 28 miles each day. So I will have to find £5000 extra each year.
