As far as I've logicked my way through trying to understand them, I've only been able to conclude that in my opinion, true masculinity (and also, femininity), comes from confidence. Hating on people for being "different" is just an expression of internal insecurities, which is _less_ masculine imho

We achieved a density of 99.95% using pure PEEK, which to my knowledge doesn't offgas. My favourite project was a print for ESA that they sent to the moon :)

You'd be surprised how far PEEK printing has come! I used to work for www.orion-am.com, and we made some rather amazing parts.

Thanks for the clarification :) I've decided to upgrade to a potentially nicer solution, also because I've been patching this one up every now and then (3 arduinos later..). I suspect the connector failed because at the time of connection I didn't know crimping was necessary.

Well the board is broken, so i want to upgrade that. The rest of the machine is a continuous work in progress that'll keep going :)

Hey #3dprinting community, my RAMPS 1.4 board just melted its bed connector after 10 years of service. What would you recommend to replace it with? Context: the printer is a homebuilt coreXY without any special features. I'm an engineer (both soft & hard) so beginner-friendliness is not a hurdle.

Great episode! As someone living in Berlin, it's fun to hear about the local landmarks (and your pronunciation of German made it so much better). Another building with fun 'weird ww2 architecture' history is the main one of the Tempelhof Airport. So many odd decisions! (Column girth being one)

Please also read the discussion in the comment section on this article. It looks like virtually any "3d printed gun" has existing plastic pieces (which contain the serial number) replaced by printed parts; you need a 'regular gun' worth of components to "3D print a gun".
