New paper out from the John Day Fossil Beds Special Volume of Journal of Paleontology. I started this work as a second-year Ph.D. student in 2020 as a Scientist-in-the-Park at John Day Fossil Beds National Monument with Nick Famoso. How things have changed! www.cambridge.org/core/journal...

I've been having a wonderful couple of weeks in the Department of Geosciences at the University of Padua in Italy collaborating with my friend and former office-mate, Elena Ghezzo, on Italian fossil rodents. This visit has been equal parts pasta, pizza, and fossils!
