So I really like these pencils. There is no sheen like regular graphite pencils but the work like them. I will definitely be doing more drawing with them. #EastCoastKin #drawing #horses #equestrian #art #horseart #equineart #fineart #equestrianart #artwork #artofbluesky #andalusian

Classic Pintar photo series. I have so many pictures that go like this of him. It never fails I try to take a nice picture of him and he starts walking to me. I know it’s cause he loves me and wants to be by me. That makes me so happy because I love him so much. #horse #hearthorse #pintar

Started a new drawing this week after I got some new pencils. The pencils are Staedtler Mars Lumograph Black Drawing Pencils if you want to know. 😉 #EastCoastKin #smartist #drawing #horses #equestrian #art #horseart #equineart #fineart #equestrianart #equine #artwork #wip #artofbluesky #andalusian

Started a new drawing tonight. Completely different color palette than I’m used to. After some time it screamed “I’m a unicorn!” #EastCoastKin #drawing #horses #art #horseart #equineart #fineart #equestrianart #equine #artwork #wip #artofbluesky #unicorn #coloredpencilart

This weekend was the East Aurora Art Festival. For the first time in all my years of showing I won Best in Show. I can’t tell you how excited I was. I worked so hard on that drawing. #drawing #horses #equestrian #art #horseart #fineart #equestrianart #artwork #artofbluesky #coloredpencilart

I’m calling this one done. At least for now. Haha. I’ll look at it tomorrow and make changes I’m sure. It’s just what I do. #EastCoastKin #drawing #horses #equestrian #art #horseart #equineart #fineart #equestrianart #equine #artwork #artofbluesky #coloredpencilart #petportrait #lightandshadow

It was so hard to stop drawing last night and go to bed. I started drawing around 8 and before I knew it it was 11:50! When hyper focus kicks in it really takes over. #EastCoastKin #drawing #horses #equestrian #art #horseart #equineart #fineart #equestrianart #wip #artofbluesky #coloredpencilart

I’ve been working on this little guy on and of for a few weeks now. He’s getting close to being done but I’ve still got several hours left. #EastCoastKin #smartist #drawing #art #fineart #artwork #wip #artofbluesky #cats #coloredpencilart #catsofbluesky

Happy National Unicorn day! 🦄 If you know me then you know I love unicorns. Growing up they adorned my room and a good amount of my school supplies. My favorite movie and book has always been The Last Unicorn. #art #unicorn #thelastunicorn #coloredpencilart #artwork #drawing

I was finally able to finish this one last night. I’m still thinking about make the background black or maybe a dark gray. I’d love to know what others think. #wip #artofbluesky #coloredpencilart #horseart #andalusian #drawing #art

Last night we lost power for a few hours. So we played by lantern light. I think the girls had fun. #cats #playtime #catsofbluesky

Last night I worked on this for about 2 hours. I was having a hard time finding that grove where I can just draw for hours. So I didn’t get as much done as I’d like. #horseart #wip #equestrianart #pre #iberianhorse #coloredpencil #coloredpencilart

Got some work in on this one today. I hope you can see the details in that part of the forelock I posted last time. I make those fine hairs using a slice tool. Very handy. #art #iberianhorses #horseart #workinprogress #equestrianart #pre

Worked on this drawing tonight for a bit. I still need to add the little details in the new section of hair but this is the base so far. #art #iberianhorses #horseart #workinprogress #equestrianart
