I actually read the original book this past week for the first time and was surprised to find how inaccurate (and watered down) the version I grew up on is. I’d definitely enjoy looking into a more accurate adaptation.

Another prominent equine from my childhood, the buckskin stallion Spirit from Dreamwork’s beautifully animated film. How many of you would pause the movie as kids to draw the individual frames? #art #digitalart #digitalillustration #horseart #horsedrawing #horsecharacterdesign #procreateart

I’ve never seen that version through. Looking at it definitely reminds me of being a kid again though

The Last Unicorn was a good watch too! I almost always forget about it though haha

It’s still one of my favorite watches! Very nostalgic to this day for sure

One of my favorite childhood movies was the 1994 screen adaptation of Anna Sewell’s classic story, Black Beauty. Which animated horses were a part of your childhood? #art #digitalart #digitalillustration #horseart #horsedrawing #horsecharacterdesign

Some horse characters using the shapes-to-faces method. It’s one of my favorite methods for breaking out of art block when I have no inspiration. #art #digitalart #digitalillustration #characterdesign #animalart #animalcharacterdesign #horsecharacterdesign #procreateart

Hey all! I’m an artist putting her feelers out and looking for a cozy place to share my art, so here’s my go here on Bluesky. I’m a predominately digital-animal artist, but I also have a passion for the fine arts, particularly western fine art. Consider following if you’d like to see more!
