Believe in growth mindset? Alex Burgoyne’s talk at #psynom25 might change your mind. Their meta-analysis found that growth mindset interventions did not predict academic achievement once publication bias and study quality were accounted for. 1/

Attended the Science Outreach and Advocacy workshop at the #psynom25 meeting. Paula Croxson & Özge Fischer-Baum shared great advice on communicating science to public audiences. My three main takeaways: 1. Clearly define your communication goals   2. Consider your audience 3. Avoid jargon
