We should discuss at length at some point.

Jungle and DnB basslines were incorporated into early garage/dubstep coming out of the UK in the early 2000s. Just a comment about how the all evolved from each other and genres are somewhat pointless. Live bass shows are fun tho you should check em out

I think this varies widely and my cohort is pretty left leaning. Off the top of my head I can think of some people who would be interested. Also, purely anecdotal but i have a mtf friend in Clairton who is dating a cishet man 🤷🏻‍♂️

@frogonbough.bsky.social hey I’m the lead organizer for the June 20th Everdark rave, can you open up dms so I could talk to you about friday?

I was reading this thread till OP brought up the ‘sexual marketplace’ which is very -cel coded. I’m not sure I can fully understand your frustrations but i do empathize with them. Also m, you are super cute Violet, confidence is a huge factor in dating, you got this 🅱️

You have value outside of your intellectual pursuits! Depression is a bitch but I know you can beat it :)

What did Biden have to gain by “gleefully supporting” Israel? Im 100% sure if there was a red button he could have hit to call a ceasefire he wouldn’t have hesitated.

Djing is my hobby, political organizing is my life. Keyboard warriors who have never knocked a door, made a phone call, or worked irl for a cause they believe in will never have clout, sorry!

Well surely the best way to help the Palestinian people is to aid Trump’s re-election, right?

It must be exhausting always looking for the negatives. The fact is the KY state leg is a repub supermajority and the amount of policy beshear has passed is incredible considering he is fighting with both hands tied behind his back. But I’m sure you don’t care about political realities.

Or you could just ask! I have worked for the past 4 years to get candidates elected who: -enshrine women’s rights -protect LGBTQ community -restore voting rights to non-violent felons -increase the minimum wage -increase access to affordable housing -protect public school funds from being diverted

I do more work to advance liberal policy than 99% of people on this app lol. Cringe is people who have never worked in politics patting themselves on the back for sitting out a crucial election

2110

Prod by Alynment @alynment.bsky.social · 27/01/2025

The idealist left is just that, idealists. Sitting out of the election and protesting the people who want to help you are not the paths to political relevancy

Something smart I think you touched on here is that day to day logistics can be learned and helped to manage by hiring competent people. Principles and a desire to bring change are mostly innate and what we need more from our electeds right now
