Think I’m about 3/4 through Onimusha now and am loving it. The combat is incredibly well done. On par for my GOTY so far alongside RE Requiem

The duels in Onimusha are amazing! Punishing boss fights, but when you get in the parry / deflect flow, you feel invincible 💪

Starting Onimusha, Way of the Sword. My first game in this series 👊

Back on Mina and onto the hunt for the last spark generator! This one is tough 😮‍💨

We finished Orbitals! Gosh that game was just fantastic. I’m a sucker for the 80’s cartoon anime style. Playing it with my daughter was such a fun time together ❤️

I find the dungeons in Mina much more brutal than the bosses! If I stick with my Elden Ring tactic of “if I can just somehow get to the next save point I’ll progress” it works! Slowly but surely I overcome the obstacles 💪

Gosh, Orbitals is such a beautiful game. The quality of presentation is really high, and the music rocks too!

Restored my first spark generator! I have died a whole bunch, but also made some good progress (I think?) by upgrading my whip and also finding a trinket that brings me back to life once when I die. Not sure where to go next, but the newspaper suggests west! 🫡

Star Fox was great! I really liked the new character models and animations. Did several playthroughs and got the true ending, but will definitely return to play again and get some alternate routes!

Next up, this gem! I haven’t played a Star Fox game since the original SNES game (which I must have played through dozens of times), so excited to see a modern remake

60+ hours in and I just reached chapter 11. I got sucked into completing all the world intel in each region so far. It’s a slog but rewarding in the end!

Enjoying the larger open areas to explore in Rebirth. Some of the side quests feel like a bit too much padding, but trying to do as much as I can muster along the way 🙂

Enjoyed Indy and his latest escapade. Clunky combat, but the comedy stealth weapons made up for it

Pragmata was a solid 8/10 for me. Really enjoyed the multitasking gameplay - hope they do a sequel!

Some random pics from visiting the Nintendo Museum 1. Hanafuda card making workshop. 2. Excite bikes on the stair handrail. 3. Gyroid on the cafe counter. 4. Zelda stained glass in the cafe seating area.

Some more random shots from my play-through of FFVII Remake. Some of the dungeon areas such as mako reactor still feel outdated perhaps, but I am really enjoying the extra world building of such a classic story and characters!

I had a great time playing Metroid Prime 4! My only wish was that Sylux played a bigger part in the story. Whoever did his voice acting did a terrific job! Such a shame he only featured heavily at the end. Still, a solid entry and I enjoyed the desert (despite the internet telling me I wouldn’t 😅)

I enjoyed Hades 2 quite a bit more than the first game. Having a choice of two paths for each run was a welcome addition. Finally defeated Typhon! Might return and do a few more runs to progress the story…

Kirby and the Forgotten Land’s DLC, Star Crossed World, was just as charming as the base game. The soundtrack to this game slaps too. A+ can highly recommend.

Playing #MarioGalaxy2 brought back so many great gaming memories. One of the all time best platformers. I wonder if Nintendo would ever make Galaxy 3? 🤔
