So, I started building something with the GitHub Copilot SDK, Windows App SDK, and the Windows AI APIs to see if I could use Phi Silica in VS Code's Copilot Chat window. Initial tests look promising, but it's got some limitations.

Some nice progress on a simple .xaml file. It sends the XAML view and the App.xaml data to render the window elements along with resources defined at the app level. Placeholders are used for data bound text. It's doing native rendering in a .NET 10 process.

A screenshot of VS Code with a WinUI project loaded. A XAML file is open in the editor along with a live preview of the rendered XAML. The VS Code output window shows that a NuGet restore was run when the project loaded.
