🎃🔮💙💜🔮🎃 Welcome to Spywarpoween! A month of gently spooky spywarp fics! With beautiful art by @motolokiev.bsky.social, thank you so much! Today's fic: The Aura Reader 🔮 archiveofourown.org/works/93850211

Title art made by motolokiev/bunclebee. “The Aura Reader” in a fancy font with a few sparkles on the letters, colored blue with gentle metallic highlights. The border is divided roughly in half: the left and lower parts are filled with sandy textured swirly shapes, and playing among the swirls are tiny alt modes of a plane, a boat, and a car (Mirage's alt mode). There are also flowers and a Transformation cog. Mirage sits on a swirl shape in the lower left corner, smiling up at Skywarp. The top and right side of the border is filled with swirly metal art nouveau designs that contain a brain module, chains, a little Skywarp plane alt, a lantern, and a dagger. Skywarp sits in the top right corner of the border, legs dangling down. The overall affect is reminiscent of fairy tales, but metallic.

The bill has been opened to feedback. Rather than dooming about the proposal, you can tell them exactly how you feel about the act here. ec.europa.eu/info/law/bet... With how much of an uphill battle Chat Control is having, you should never assume it's worthless to fight these draconian bills.

YAHOOO The season!! It is the season!! Violet let me design their frames based off the text & the Ferrymech universe. I ran away with it from there. Below is a scene from the ficlet--read it and you will find it there! Thank you for trusting me with your vision :D 💙💜

Passage of AltraViolet's The Aura Reader, rendered in a 3 panel comic. The passage reads:

Mirage frowned and focused on the seam where wing met frame. He prodded at it several times, nearly sending static into the lines there. “People think you are stupid.”

“Oh, come on!” shouted Skywarp. Fuck him for going to see an Iaconian aura reader instead of a real Kaonic one. “How in the Pit—”

“Shh!” said Mirage. His handsome face pinched into an irritated expression so lovely, Skywarp snapped his mouth shut.

a tale of American insurance: medical provider: you owe $50! depending on your medical insurance's response, some or all of the $21.25 you owe could be your responsibility. it's still pending medical insurance: it's processed. you owe $50. but check with your medical provider before paying 🔪

Screenshot from medical provider that's confusing. Official looking Amount due with Make a Payment Button: $50. Little information icon which I moused over. box reads: Some of the charges on this guarantor account are awaiting a response from insurance. Depending on the response from insurance, some or all of the $21.25 currently awaiting a response from insurance could become your responsibility.

Screenshot from medical insurance: Processed. Your share $50. Always confirm the amount you owe with your provider.

what the heck... SPYwarpoween! I always have to double check the Skywarps in the prose to make sure none of them are Spywarps. And yet, here I have mixed it up the other way xD

Started as a little study and became another one of the 'Secret Society of Unpractical Headpieces in Space' series (that still does not exist) 🪐

Illustration by Eleonor Piteira showing a black woman with an elaborate golden headpiece. Her hair is curly and long, she's wearing a dress, and gold and blue make up on her eyes. She is framed by a circle and behind her there is a space view with a star and small planets.

something cute, like lil smiley/happy ghosts or cats. I ended up getting a pack of cards at the grocery store that has a black cat kinda peeking in from the side of the card with a smiley mouth. Hoping American Greetings employs real artists

your use of color in the shadows (the pink where the shadows meet the light) and also the rainbow in the white hair... so good 🤌🤌🎨 and the second pose is so sensual! I swear it's like looking at music slowing down (like when movies do that to focus the viewers on what's going on)

spywarpoween update: Fic 3 is done! I might poke at it here and there, but it is finished. 🔮 ficlet one: 2001 words 🐍 ficlet two: 4147 words 🦇ficlet three: 2077 on to ficlet four 💀👀

You're expressing frustration, which is fair as you are the artist, but WOW! As a member of your audience & a big fan of your work, this looks amazing. Your style is so gorgeousssss ahhhhhhh Hope you can conquer it to your liking soon 💪🎉

010

trying to find some really cute halloween cards... do u think the et/sy store that's been online for 6 months & that has over 10,000 items in all different art styles is a real, small creator, as is stated in the bio? 🙄 ugh... I just want some cute non-AI art & to support a real personnnn

160

it's not useless :D it does set the mood, establish the setting, and help with characterization!
