I was lucky enough to meet Sheldon, briefly, at MC Philly. I got to gush at him about how this silly little format helped me make memories. With family, with old friends, and new ones. How it helped me grieve, and I got weepy. It was only a few minutes, but I got to thank him. Hug your people. 🫂 🥂

Today I achieved a goal I didn't expect. I played Mog (Legit Group Hug) for Commander League, and had an Otherworld Atlas with 10 counters, late game. His end step? Atlas draw 10, my turn Proliferate x2 Atlas draw 12 . Secret Rendezvous: opponent draws OUT. Me: "EAT YOUR CAKE! EAT IT!!" Victory.

It's awfully late, but yesterday, I came in second during Chaos Draft at the LGS. I was on Selesnya Counters. P1P1 Gilded Goose... It took all my willpower to not P2P1 Fighter Class. (I was very brave.) I got to draft Unruly Mob. It never made it to the field, but I had it for emotional support.

Saw the deck list for the new Lorehold Pre-Con yesterday. A fair portion of the land base is just cards I put in every deck. The reprint value is bonkers on top of that. I feel like I could play it, unmodified, quite happily. Strixhaven is cool. I'm excited to go back.

Boss, has the correct take. I'm a huge fan of Marvel and Stan Lee. Stan said, "Every comic is somebody's first." Same goes for Magic. Every set/product is somebody's first. Keep that in mind, and always try to be kind. I am much happier having new people to play with, and teach about the game.
