Yep, as noted, filming on location in real ruins, the costumes, the writing, the acting... all the stuff that made it great did it in. I liked S2 but I'm a pretty cheap date. P.S. I'm also the eldest sibling & an Italian Jew who's a childless cat-dad. Though I'm from N.Y. I live in Jersey City now.

But let's say we don't have any idea how A.I. works (I understand it on a pretty base level, but I can see the damage it's doing) - still it's pretty clear there's massive theft and a reckless disregard for humanity in general - you don't need to be an A.I. expert to want to combat that.

The only hopeful passage in the entire article is the last one. Dr. Huff said governments accomplished more working together than competing. “I want to see more collaboration internationally in space. That is where collaborative team science has ascended beyond our grumpy international politics.”
