I had a lot of furry cards both from FURUM and before. Decided to get a rolodex to organize em all. Modern problems sometimes need old school solutions!

See you all at FURUM this weekend! Hoping it'll be a fun time - but I cant help but admit some anxiety and worry. Re-engaging with the furry community is going to be hard (esp with certain...groups about) and I am content being alone. But...let's see how it goes. Hopefully good.

My angioplasty was a success - turns out my artery was blocked 97% Its been almost a week now - feeling damn good to be honest and I'm not huffing and puffing everywhere I go. Was lucky in that the wire went up my arm instead of the leg - seeing the inside of my heart real time was cool too!

Alternate22 @alternate22.bsky.social · 03/11/2025

Angiogram (and potential angioplasty) is tomorrow. Not nervous since it is just a day surgery - but I am looking forward to hopefully getting into better shape once it is easier to exercise my heart without the fear of flatlining. Also.just having more energy to do things again.

Next week I head off for an Angiogram, likely with Angioplasty given my CT scan suggested a 70-99% blockage in one of my arteries. It'll be interesting - and thankfully not a big deal. A day surgery at most, but ho boy I'm most looking forward to seeing my heart from the inside out!

No matter what happens let’s be moving forward together

white lion is standing and looking up at the sky. They are wearing a white t-shirt and a light blue backpack with a pink heart and yellow stars on it. A keychain with a yellow smiley face hangs from the backpack. The background is a bright blue sky with white, fluffy clouds. There are two black Japanese kanji characters on the right side of the image.

A fox at Grand Teton National Park has stolen at least 32 shoes from campers, raising park rangers concerns. The fox began swiping shoes left outside tents, prompting rangers to post warnings asking visitors to store footwear securely.

Superman 2025 made me feel like a 5 year old kid, watching and learning about superman all over again. This is what it was all about. The hope, the optimism, the compassion all personified. Such a damn good film, worth every penny

Pondering if I should I register and go for FURUM...hmmm. Thinking maybe yes. It's important to vote with the wallet and support cons that are led by better people. Can run D&D or Pugmire there too I wager so that would be nice.

I'm still alive, still here. Doing a lot better mentally and emotionally as well. Im finding great insight in solitude, especially as I keep off of most social media. Activity levels will be low, unless some thoughts leak into here occasionally.

On the concept of No Action, Talk Only: talking *IS* an action. A free action yes, but an action nonetheless. In an era where entire nations worth of GDP has been invested into extracting value from your time, money and energy, sometimes 'free' is all the common person can afford.

Been a while since I posted art. Good friend asked me for a cheeta gif and I thought 'You know what, I can draw. I'll draw!'

A cheetah stares, eyes wide, far too close to the point of view so it's eyes are amazingly large and vibrant. Its whiskers twitch as it tries to stare into your soul and ask for scritches

Back home and here's the posing practice art I made on the flight back! Lots of wobbly lines from turbulence. Also, I dropped my Apple Pencil on both flights and in both cases it was a pain getting it back from under the seats. 😭 Gonna need some form of tether in the future!

Japan has been great so far This place...is so different compared to singapore. Reminds me of 1990s Bangalore, but a lot cleaner especially away from the urban areas. Wish I had the money or the language to move here - it's just so much quieter
