My Hecate talisman came! This is my first real piece of jewelry ever, and was made by @satyrmagos.bsky.social. I love it, and, once it is consecrated and I have an appropriate cord or chain, I'm going to be wearing it a lot.

We've had a mast year for nuts in Virginia. The great fall of hickory nuts and acorns has wound down. I've kept a few to feed the critters in winter, but I really miss the random thwack! of a nut hitting the back deck.

For #InternationalDogDay, this is the last picture of our precious girl, Ripley, at 11 1/2 years old. She let us know a month earlier that her time was ending, and that was the most precious gift of all.

As a newly-arrived Pagan and worshiper of Hecate, I'm in that phase of getting a lot of 'firsts.' This week was my first grief. Our old, beloved pup, Ripley, died. Having a ritual and a Goddess to help her spirit through gave me a senses of healing I've never gotten from a funeral.

I'm new to spirituality and the craft. My wife is so excited for me that when she learned about Sabbats and the Wheel of the Year, she decided to surprise me with a wheel of the year for Christmas. No one has ever done anything like this for me.
