HAPPY #SKUNKTEMBER 🦨✨ I take you back to Hannah's world! tall tables and no ramps or stairs? What's an uplifted girl to do...

a drawing of a little quadrupedal skunk girl in a qipao, being lifted up by a human woman in a dress. They're at a party.

"you're sure getting picked up isn't like... belittling? Undiginified? for you?" the human asks.

"Throwin' a house party with zero quadrupedal accomodations. Now THAT'S undignified. Now set down on the canapes table, please."

pink in the night (2019)

lyric comic to pink in the night, by mitski. page 1 text: and i know i've kissed you before, but i didn't do it right. scene 1: a little boy and girl are sitting in the rain. the boy wipes away tears, having tripped and scratched a knee. the girl leans forward to kiss the small wound. scene 2: the two friends are in elementary school, holding hands. the boy looks at a picture depicting a mom, dad, and child.

page 2 text: can i try again, try again, try again. scene 1: high school. they lie on the floor during a study session, but they only have eyes for each other. scene 2: college. the same couple, only now they are two girls, kissing in bed. scene 3: the girls are getting married, exchanging a sweet kiss in a field of flowers. sunset colors cast warm light onto their wedding dresses.

page 3 text: try again, and again, and again. scene 1: the girls are moving in together. one dozes off against an unpacked moving box as the other kisses her head. scene 2: disneyland. both wear minnie mouse ears as they take a selfie, laughing at the kiss mark one has left on her wife's cheek. scene 3: the childhood friends have grown older. one woman hides a bouquet behind her back as they kiss over breakfast.

page 4 text: and again, and again, and again? scene 1: the women wake up in bed together, hints of grey in their hair. one kisses the other's bare shoulder. scene 2: a winter walk. they kiss as their dog plays in the snow. scene 3: the shore of a beach. the wives have greying hair and fine wrinkles, but they're still just as in love. they hold each other close, laughing, full of affection.

260913 commission for sevencreatures

a ferret returns from EVA, topless; its pressure suit half removed and jumpsuit tied at the waist. it floats in microgravity in a doorway to an airlock, anchoring itself with one hand; with the other, it lights a cigarette. a section of the image around the lighter is in striking higher contrast.

did a little 3d modeling for the first time in a while. it was shockingly easy tbh

a spaceship, long and cylindrical with a tapered point. rim-lit from behind by the sun, but otherwise deep in shadow, suspended in the void. her radiator fins, four rectangles at right angles to each other, glow red, and the glow reflects off her hull

the same spacecraft, this time pictured from her sunlit side. her hull gleams brilliant white, almost drowning out the glow of her radiators. one radiator casts a shadow across her, and at her aft the sun highlights the curve of her drive nozzle aperture

the vertical container orientation is by far the most common design, as it dramatically simplifies the design and maintenance of the spacecraft, at the expense of requiring more careful arrangement of the cargo within the container (fuck bsky's character limit btw)

small, chemically-fueled craft like these are the logistical backbone of the Europan Union and the greater Jovian Bloc.

the Europan light cargo rocket Montgomery Scott makes ready to depart from Point Robin, Europa, circa 531 ap. A.

atop a pad sits a squat, skeletal rocket, waiting to be loaded with a single cargo container by an adjacent crane. mist and fog billows off the pad in the bleak vacuum, and the Europan ice stretches to the horizon. in the sky, Jupiter looms, unfathomably vast

no such ships survive to the present day, though some derelicts have been observed on highly eccentric orbits. one such specimen is expected to pass within half an AU of Concordat space in the spring of 535. no recovery effort is planned.

New Accord patrol interceptor & associated swarm munitions, Sol System, circa 100–150 ap. A.

a triangular spacecraft hangs in vacuum, gleaming white against the black void. her three shockingly small radiator fins glow brilliantly, and she's surrounded by a small swarm of missiles, all stationary relative to her
