FA regardless of your personal feelings, is the core of the fandom and losing it would mean YEARS AND YEARS of art, messages, pages, and memorials for people that have passed, would be gone. We CANNOT allow ourselves to rely simply on sites like bsky, twitter, insta, etc. etc. to be our defaults.

Heading back to work next Monday! I haven’t felt this good in years, taking the reins of my life has been the best thing I’ve ever done. Getting help has quite literally changed my life, I really feel I’m in a brand new chapter.

There are days when I miss having a little weed, but keeping my eyes on the goals I want to achieve is more important to me. That being said if I go to friends places or at a con I will partake. My problems came from doing it alone in my room, eating fast food and isolating myself. Priorities :)

Been doing a lot better, still exercising and such and it’s to the point I look forward to it. Being more open to going out and interacting with people has been coming much easier too. Depression is real and I’m just glad I realized I needed help. Therapy starts early September too. Forward!

Staying consistent with my walks so far, 2 weeks in the bag. Started physio for my lower back and prognosis is good, nothing indicating any major issues just lack of exercise. Sleep is still a struggle but eliminating every possible issue. The journey continues!~

9 days in a row I’ve walked, it’s starting to feel good and not something I’m just supposed to do. Also I’ve got a number of appointments lined up to address the various problems I’ve been experiencing. Things are on track, feels good to finally address all that’s built up over the years untreated.

Another part of these changes I’m making comes in the form of effort. I’ve always just coasted by when it comes to my friends and even family, I’ve been in the background since high school ended and I just don’t want to/ can’t live that way anymore. I’m going to try and be around and visible more.

It’s not easy to admit you need help, but especially after these past two years things have been rough. Currently have an appointment for my GP, and correspondence with a therapist, I’ve also started walking daily and have quit weed altogether. I am not okay, but I’m working on it.

I asked work for a temp leave of absence due to mounting mental health issues and sleep problems, resulting in some self-destructive habits that despite my best efforts I haven’t been able to break.
