“Building hope is an exercise of putting one foot in front of the other, taking step after step, even when the path is challenging and progress is slow. The choice to act builds momentum and provides a sense of control and power that feeds the next step. " ajph.aphapublications.org/doi/full/10....

Sexual violence against women is largely committed by men. Every time something horrific like this happens, this poster sees women leading the discussion. But we’d like to hear from men. What are you doing to prevent this from happening? Fathers, what are you teaching your sons?

This poster has gone back & forth on wanting to weigh in on the #Cornellseven. Ultimately sexual violence is a public health problem. 1 in 3 women experience sexual violence in her lifetime. Few men know an assaulter but every woman knows another who’s been SA’d.

Excellent point! One of the particularly concerning effects of measles is “immune amnesia.” Measles can wipe out some of the immune memory you’ve built against other pathogens, leaving you more susceptible to infections you were previously protected against.

@sarahphh.bsky.social Yeah I'd agree with Marla. It's so easy to ignore texts, calls, emails, and letters. They're usually fairly impersonal. But door canvassing puts a face to the request. And many will listen as you explain why you support a candidate or think voting is important.

That's not true. We remain because we care deeply about our work and helping others. We don't know why we were spared and not others. The purges were chaotic, harmful, and made no sense - except for the overall goal of hobbling CDC and other crucial federal orgs.
