For the trend of scary media for kids, its got to be the Ambassadors of Death. Season 7 of Doctor Who has some of the creepiest and bleakest imagery in the series' entire history. And the Ambassadors especially freaked me out as a kid with their sinister raspy breathes.

The Melkur was a fascinating design for sure and Keeper of Traken is a nice enough episode. Not the most exciting, but the designs are glorious. I do feel bad for the person in the Melkur costume.

From one autistic fellow to another, we will get crashouts and breakdowns. Its best to move on from bad crowds and friends who fade away.

That is true. Ironically just yesterday someone new came along and told me they really enjoyed my latest bit of writing which was heartwarming. I feared my writing was too dense and pretentious at first.

Goodness me he looks gorgeous. Thank you again for this handsome fellow. :)

Ooh this guy looks pretty handsome and yes you've drawn the right alien. And I like how you drew the diamond pattern they have on their ship. :) They're ready to bake some stuff on Pudding Lane and keep pet plague rats.

What the flip? Aren't online dictionaries supposed to be free? (Well at least there's books. You pay for them once and never again!)

I remember first play AOE2 and getting sad that Cavalier and Paladin upgrades removed the stripy kite shaped shield. Because that is one lovely shield.

Lance discovering his inner confidence really resonates with me, as a shy nerdling also.

Today I was sorting out boxes in my attic. I found one with two things; all the HP books I own and folders full notes I made during highschool. I took the notes since many were fun to look back on and left the books to gather dust. I'm happy to move onto better fantasy stories.

I sincerely hope the people of Scotland won't be fooled twice...then again memories are short. For example my local area keeps voting Tory every time. No idea why and they shriek at the very thought of the wealthy being taxed and royal family deposed.

Its strange hearing George Carlin, having only grown up on the British narrators.

021

altallo.bsky.social @altallo.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

One thing I will say, the actual location is really pretty. The movies really did it a disservice by making it all grey. But yes this is pathetic. And the fact that actual archaeological sites may be in danger because of a fictional character is grotesque.

020

altallo.bsky.social @altallo.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Been reading around and one glaring aspect of this was that it put several significant Bronze Age archaeological sites in danger. Actual history may be destroyed all for some fictional character. ...Personally I think Ebony Darkness Dementia Raven Way deserves a memorial more than Dobbers.

I'm very late but I offer my shapeshifting alien Altallo in his kobold form. He's rather cartoonish, clownish, happy, go lucky but can be serious and introspective when needed.

I do wish they had made some of the Aztec pantheon a bit more nightmarish (they really amped the sex appeal with the goddesses on that one). But poor Xolotl. They should have made him a good doggy like Anubis.

I remember VHS tapes of Mr Blobby and watching them a lot (long after his popularity imploded). My parents hated it but I think as an autistic person I learned that even if you're clumsy and find it hard to communicate, you can still bounce back from failure. But that's just me reading too deeply.

Just seen you dressed up as this gentleman and dancing to The Navy (its doing the rounds on servers I lurk in). You make one handsome minotaur for sure. 😀

I recognise this YouTuber. They review a lot of British kids shows also from the 90s and before. Some are funny, but others feel like punching down an easy target.

Sometimes I wonder why I keep going with my writing. All my old readers have long since gone and I do get some traction with my writing, but often they go under the radar. I've also been feeling out of place in the furry scene. Been doing some server cuts and questioning myself of late.

Let us not forget the decades of Kaa fantasies and Robin Hood slashfics which will no doubt be unleashed. Same with the Zootopia stuff of the newer generations.

I do wonder where all these people are now. There is always something rather ghostly about old photos. These were memories of someone who are either now forgotten or gone.
