In recent years, the media has quietly begun to change the way in which it writes about Bobby Kotick, the former CEO of Activision Blizzard. PMG investigates how Kotick used the threat of defamation to reshape his legacy in the games business, one article at a time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKwp...

Had to do a double take felt like I was losing my grip on reality seeing Uma on screen and with Digitan no less in the new Jacob Geller video, especially as it was right as I was loading up actual Uma on my phone

ook part in a "Departure Song" Pokemon x Miku fanart collab and got to draw Chatot alongside my favorite Normal-Type Miku! TBH I've been in a major art block for a while, so I feel like this helped with it a bit...

Sayonara Lara was thematically on point, emotionally resonant, and I think after stewing on it, that's enough for me. (With some small caveats) It really had to be a total rejection of the notion that you have to find love first to be truly "alive", and that's why Lara had to go

Omegahorn's on an amazing 3 episode run, and I hope the rest of the show keeps up the momentum! I really like how it frames and sums up what it means to show one's "ego"and will so beautifully in these words.

This week's Kore Kaite Shine goes into the hobby/pro divide and I like how it depicts so subtly how, even being pro has it's limits and that there' no "correct" way to make interesting manga Like, Tessie's manga is good, but that she doesn't fit the magazine isn't her fault...

While the previous episodes have been cop drama, Episode 21 really pushes the trendy drama aspect of the show again with Ryou's story. And I love that they're keeping the same visual motifs with GIll's henshin, it's so cool.

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

This moment in Episode 20 gets referenced in Agito: Psychic War! Despite his stocks going up in the previous episode, it's still gun to see Hojo get the short end of the stick here lmao.

000

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

I said all that about the previous episode, but boy does Episode 19 feel even more like it's a straight-up hard-boiled detective drama. Really cements Hojo being such a fun & nuanced character, even more than I remember him to be.

Each part of Agito feels like its own show (Rider/police drama/trendy drama) & Episode 18 feels like it came out of a cop show The G3 Unit & Hikawa really feel like they're the protagonists more than Shouichi & co. sometimes, tho no wonder given the screen time they get

Agito Psychic War is….. something. I appreciate getting to see the cast again, but the tonal dissonance between this and the show, especially in the middle of a rewatch, feels… a bit weird. It’s a lot more goofy than the trailers make it out to be.

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I don't have much to say about Episode 17 besides that these smoke effects rock and- jeez, they really are putting Ryou through the wringer here. Man's already suffered a lot for just 17 episodes. Also love to see Hojo getting his ass kicked each time.

000

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Episode 16 has our three protagonists aaaalmost meeting each other for the first time, and it sure makes you can't wait for when they'll actually meet for real. They're also continuing Ryou "catching up" with Gills as he transforms, and it's a really cool visual!

000

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Episode 15's a slow one, but I appreciate all the little character moments both Mana & Taichi get to have here even if it's not as important to the overall plot. I really appreciate the levity Shouichi's supporting cast brings to the show, especially contrasted with Hikawa & Ryo.

000

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Episode 14 has the debut of Machine Tornador's Slider Mode and the first time the insert song MACHINE TORNADER is played! The CGI hasn't aged in the best way... but man is the concept cool and it's still cool to see.

000

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Episode 13 has the freaky Scorpion Unknown with the awesome moving mandibles- 10/10 design I remember seeing this guy! Another testament to just how cool the suit designs in Agito are. It's the Unknown having really human eyes that freak you out.

000

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Episode 12 has Gill's first henshin on a bike and it's so fucking cool. Though plotwise, Ryou really keeps getting the short end of the stick. Man really suffers like, a lot.

000

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Lots to talk about in Episode 11, I love that we start to see each plotline cross paths with Shouichi and Ryo's first meeting. But I particularly love the way even this simple scene of Hikawa and Hojo is lit, with the police car lights illuminating them. Agito has so many of these cool shots.

000

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

can we live without ever hurting one another? is revenge ever justified? what’s more important, the pursuit of justice or breaking the cycle of hatred? chiikawa the movie, effectively a full house on its first day of screening in indonesia. i highly recommend it.

What kills me most about Lisa's story is that despite living as a human, relying on them, showing kindness & grace to them... she ultimately still decides that Lara shouldn't ever love humans. Like, how deep her pain & distrust must be, it hurts to even watch... #GoodbyeLara

Episode 10 immediately has Hojo auraloss lmao. I like that they play with the idea that Shouichi might be an unreliable narrator here because he has amnesia. I also like Hikawa partnering with Hojo's ex-partner- it shows how competent he is out of the G3 suit as a detective.

000

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

It's crazy we get probably the first time G3 aurafarms in the show with Episode 9, and it's Hojo in the suit. I like how he's not such a clear-cut asshole here by shooting at the Unknown without total disregard for the child it's taking hostage, it's just he's brash and cocky.

The best thing I can say about The Ribbon Hero is that it's occasionally very pretty & I don't feel like I wasted my time watching it The worst thing I can say about The Ribbon Hero is, like Gundam F91, this really should've been a 12 episode anime instead of a 2 hour movie

It's the small things, but Draw This, Then Die! keeps making me laugh out loud and cry uncontrollably at the same time. I feel like the feeling is mutual for everyone who ever tried walking the path of manga. It really is the happiest moment in the world.

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

We get Flame Form's debut in Episode 8, and the G3 plot starts to progress. This shot is so cool! Also, Hojo's such a bitch lmao. It's pretty cool how the show manages to juggle all these plots and endears you to each of the main trio's supporting casts in such a such time.

000

alsosprachces @alsosprachces.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

Episode 7 & we start get into Mana's backstory & it's really sweet. I appreciate the levity coming from Shouichi's side balancing out Agito's depressing story. Like, Agito fails to save so many people from this Unknown, & the murders are absolutely brutal. He loses big time here.
