... i have joined the @nextjs.org team at @vercel.com. for a start, i'll be working part-time, so please don’t flood me with bug reports yet. however, i’ll try to keep an eye on them as i want to understand what problems Next.js users are running into every day. i want App Router to get good!

PWA Plugin v2 will be a necessary "clean break": Vite 8 + Rolldown required. ⚡️ 🚀 Native "Dual Service Worker" support: we serve native ESM to modern browsers and automatically fallback to Classic for the rest. The best of both worlds with zero config! ✅🚀 @vite.dev #PWA

We're working on vite-plugin-pwa v2 version: - 🦾 workbox fork: from 340+ to just 20 dependencies ( @e18e.dev ) 🤯 - ⚡ @vite.dev 8 + Environment API support (v1 works with Vite 8) - 🔌 pwa plugin becomes modular, we don't need to hack integrations anymore (ala npmx.dev/package/serw... )

In the next version of @rolldown.rs, more accurate source maps are generated Example: When an error occurs during property access Before, the source map highlighted the right line, but not the property that caused issues. Now it points to the correct property, improving debugging experience and DX
More accurate source maps in Rolldown

Source code:

```js
import mod from './cjs.js'
const foo = mod.version.startsWith("1")
// Accessing `mod.version` throws an error
console.log(foo)
```

The first (inaccurate) stacktrace shows the error at 3:7 (which is "foo").
The second stacktrace shows the error at 3:17, which is the position of the property "version" and the actual location of the error.
