Ya lost me here "Free" returns & package protection (the bare minimum for an online purchase) is behind a $1.23 paywall, to which you then have to agree to ANOTHER companies Privacy Policy & T&C, which state they'll sell your transaction info to advertisers? Kinda defeats the whole bit here?
Checkout where $1.23 add-on is the default option. The company is free to take your $35 and run if you opt out of having your transaction information shared with advertisers

@grok From an economic perspective, would it be cheaper to provide illegal immigrants with free healthcare upfront or on the backend?
Grok

From an economic perspective, providing free healthcare upfront to illegal immigrants may be cheaper than backend care. Preventive care, like prenatal visits, can halve costs compared to emergency treatments, as seen in California's Medi-Cal expansion. Immigrants' lower per capita spending ($4,875 vs. $7,277 for U.S.-born in 2021) supports this. However, expansions can exceed budgets, with California's costs rising $3 billion over estimates, raising taxpayer burden concerns. Backend care, mainly emergency services, has lower immediate costs but risks higher expenses for untreated conditions. Evidence leans toward upfront care saving money long-term, but uncertainties in implementation and funding persist.

@Grok Wouldn't it be way more economically viable to just deport every single one of them? Then there are no medical bills to even consider, their country of origin can take care of that, right?
Grok

Replying to @Buoyant_Bear
Deporting all undocumented immigrants would cost $114B-$315B, far exceeding the $1.5B annual healthcare costs they incur. They contribute $31.9B in taxes yearly, and deportation could cut GDP by up to 10%, causing economic harm. Providing healthcare is cheaper, with lower per capita costs ($4,875 vs. $7,277 for U.S.-born) and preventive care savings. However, budget overruns, like California’s $3B, are a concern. Deportation also raises humanitarian issues, affecting 5.9M U.S.-born children. Both sides have merit, but healthcare provision appears more cost-effective.

Google search result from rats.com:

Rodents can have a little optical fiber, and most will go crazy to get their paws on the delicious smelling polyethylene jackets. However, (highlight) it should be kept as an occasional treat only (end highlight) as too much could cause weight gain. Your rat should be just fine with a couple of cores of single-mode fiber as a treat.
