Claude when you tell it to suggest 3 button variations and recommend one of them: 1. awful-ugly 90s marquee blinking 2. a decent looking @shadcn button (recommended) 3. a purple gradient rounded corners serif It already knows what you will pick because the other options are calculated rubbish #ai

After a few days of intensive Opus 5 usage, I'm going back to use Fable 5. It's the better model for orchestration and communication.

2️⃣ Crossfire is just the review part in isolation. It spawns multiple subagents that all check for different aspects. Soon it will support multi model. It will be the perfect companion for everyone who uses @mattpocock.com skills, especially `/wayfinder`

Alper Ortac @alperortac.bsky.social · 17/07/2026
1️⃣ Forge is a sophisticated code implementation skill. It takes anything from a simple prompt to a detailed spec and turns it into quality outcomes. Includes intent alignment, prototyping, tests and reviews.

I'm currently rebuilding and rebranding my agentic coding workflow. Instead of a plugin, it will be a skill. I will rebrand it from "alp-river" to forge. Two commands: 1️⃣ `/forge` 2️⃣ `/crossfire`

Or: debugging with breakpoints. This could translate into the agent figuring out how to reproduce the error step by step and show the evidence. There is so much we can learn by combining both worlds.

Alper Ortac @alperortac.bsky.social · 06/07/2026
Simple example: a common feature in the old world is "rename variable name". This could come back but trigger a prompt to propose better names, look for inconsistencies and execute the refactor. 2/3

did anyone measure if adding exclamation marks has an impact on the LLM's result? I could imagine that it emphasizes importance and shifts its focus maybe you can even steer AI by the number of !!! added to certain sentences would be a neat way to save a few tokens #ai #llm #coding-agent

Only the most challenging high level work remains. We are more productive, but also more exhausted. Our jobs are not at stake, but our well-being might be. 3/3

On the other hand, it leaves us with judging the difficult decision. Everything that requires taste, knowledge and experience. That can be draining, especially if we parallelize more and more agents that need our input. 2/3

Agentic Coding takes it toll from our mental balance. Let me explain. On the positive side, it frees us from boring and repetitive work. It builds algorithms, refactors the codebase, iterates on designs, creates the full test suite. 1/3 #agenticcoding #engineering #mentalhealth #buildinpublic

usually you only do one task at a time - parallel fixes could really be an obstacle agreed though that it can take a while to do multiple sequentially
000
Alper Ortac @alperortac.bsky.social · 01/06/2026
Each stage usually has multiple steps. E.g. review can spawn all of these in parallel: * correctness * quality * acceptance * plan-adherence * naming-clarity * structure * architecture * ux * design-consistency

Just came up with this idea and feel like a genius. Just screenshot something, paste into claude and tell it to copy it where you want it to be in your project. You can tell it to convert it too if you want. Like saving as webp and optimize for web.
