A screenshot showing that both Chiitan and a hornet under the @ Bellhearted liked a post about Aloe's eevee.

He does, does he not? He is a creature know as an "Eevee". A type of "pokemon", which so far as I can tell is a word for extraordinary animals. He hails from a world where such creatures are the norm, and are companions. With how well behaved he is, I now understand why.

[Social Media Post] What a polite little creature he is.

A screenshot of the pokemon anime that features eevee sitting on what appears to be a desk.

Eevee is a small, mammalian, quadrupedal Pokémon with primarily brown fur. The tip of its bushy tail and its large furry collar are cream-colored. It has short, slender legs with three small toes and a pink paw pad on each foot. Eevee has brown eyes, long pointed ears with dark brown interiors, and a small black nose.

[Social Media Post] Oh I see. The "pet tax" is in fact something, and not a simple prank played on me. How lovely.

((Honestly? Indefinitely. This man has the patience of steel, and is good at de-escalation. He's also very good at inconveniencing awful people in ways that do not reflect poorly on him, but *do* amuse. Unflappable, polite, and good at calming people. Bosses would hate him for lacking desperation.)

[Social Media Post] Clive has at last convinced me to make myself an account for this utility. Here is the obligatory "pet tax" she informed me was required upon joining such a service.

[Starter for: @branching-paths.bsky.social] Travelling was a part of his job, of course. Bringing care to those who needed it, no matter where they were, or how inconvenient it was to get there, was a big part of his calling to make reality better for as many as he could.
