What a different atmosphere this season. Everyone upbeat at the moment ! I don’t think Crole can take the place of Doidge this season. Etete seems the more likely replacement but when are we going to see him to see what he can offer ?

What an improved defence from last season. Cameron is a much more commanding presence than Mat Baker; Jacob over Glennon no comparison; Jenkins model of consistency and Norman over Cam Evans. Our goal difference tells the story!

Every player worked hard and dug in ( except for the goal ! ). I have been critical of Brennan in the past but this season he has improved and has established himself as a good midfield player.

I’m disappointed with Andy Burnham.Yesterday he was at the UN giving a speech about Ukraine and talking to Trump.Today he wants to legalise drinking at football clubs.I can’t remember anyone complaining about this. Now it’s pitted the pro fans against the anti fans. If it’s not broke don’t fix it

Just received an email from the County Trust about the Fan Egagement Plan. The schedule says Fan Council to be set up in July, Fan Forum with the club in August and a HJ’s introduction saying there would be more comms with fans this season than last. So far none of this has happened !

From his first interview Mullins said he wanted to build a team that was hard to beat. As we had lost the last 3 away games pragmatism took over. Playing attractive football may be desirable but this season’s aim is to avoid a relegation battle.I suspect Accrington are more disappointed than we are

Yes, lots of positives. Jakob is class but because of hip injury only lasts 80 mins. Doidge, MDD and Abu-Paku tired also. Very few impact players on the bench to replace them though

The stupid cock-up goals seem to be resolved but the late goals and a weak bench are problems HM is still to resolve. It’s early days yet but still have confidence in HM to find solutions. With Doidge and Etete both injured it’s a worry but perhaps the new players will provide a new style

BBC stats for passing accuracy Rochdale 63% Bristol Rov. 48 Tranmere 51 Salford 46 Northampton 67 For 3 matches half our passes went astray.Should be in the 70’s at least.This can be practiced in training and can improve. Try for the quick long ball but not every time.

Don’t give up yet, lads ! Most pre-season predictions were we would finish around 20th. We have played 2 home games and are undefeated. 3 away games 2 of which have been against top predicted teams and today we were without a hit man striker. Give them a bit of leeway before we are in despair mode

All my doubts from last season sre back. 2 goals given away in 5 mins and no quality off the bench. Sassy as full back ? No ! Jervis as striker? No ! Only ray of sunshine is Gwengwe but can see HJ clocking up the £s with every goal he scores.

Echoes of last season 2 goals given away in 5 mins. Things started to go wrong after the first 3 subs. Jervis may have some good qualities but after yesterday the experiment of him as a striker is a non starter.
