First try making my own dumplings (including the casings). Filled with pork, garlic and ginger. Fried to make the bottoms crispy then steamed the rest of the way. A bit lumpy and misshapen, but delcious! Ate with some steamed pak choi (not pictured) 😋 #cooking

First time making my own pasta. Don't have the equipment so just rolled out with a rolling pin. Made up a sauce as I went along with shallots, a white wine reduction, chick stock and lemon juice (not sure if sauce has a name, but is delicious). Pleased with it, good texture and very tasty 😋 #cooking

Builders doing work on my patio. One of the labourer lads comes in to use the loo and sees me playing the new(ish) Indiana Jones game. Asks if I've played spiderman and I said I didn't really enjoy it. His reply is "I guess that's more popular with young people?"

Peanut butter cookies. Had never heard of them before they were mentioned on an episode of @hyperfixedpod.bsky.social I listen to today (great new podcast btw). Turns out they're basically just peanut butter and sugar, surer easy to make. Delicious! 🍽
