40 years ago, the first piece of pop culture I fell in love with debuted. It changed children's & cable television by turning Nickelodeon from "just a cable channel" into a juggernaut. Not to mention, it's a legitimately great game show with a Top 5 endgame.

On the field, James Winston is mediocre, at best. Off the field, Winston is f*cking awful.

#ForgottenIsland is the best animated motion picture in years. A beautiful ode to friendship, memories & anime with one of most inventive climaxes you see in modern cinema.

#Primetime has no idea what it wants to be. It's not an exposè of "Reality TV". It's not an deep dive of "modern journalism". It's not an indictment of child predators. It only works as a showcase for Skyler Gisondo as Decoy Dan, the only character with a real soul.

The YT algorithm pointed me the direction of a video arguing that The End of Oak Street is the worst movie of 2026 & I want to rip my hair out after watching it for 5 minutes. Supergirl still exists, right?

PYW was a genius dark comedy that felt like it had a solid basis in reality with some over-the-top beats that led directly to its absurd & brilliant finale. Best Motion Picture of 2020 & it's not even close.

This will be a catastrophe for both filmed entertainment and news, and it's a great shame that the California AG caved. Trump and his people will celebrate this news today. www.nytimes.com/2026/09/21/b...

The deal would remove the last significant hurdle the media mogul David Ellison faced to create a news and entertainment empire, home to movie studios, HBO, CBS and CNN.

#TheBeastofMossyBottom is a funny but very slight Shaun the Sheep adventure that exists to be a tribute to horror movies but not much else. Just very...meh...

#TheWeight is a wonderful slow burn of a heist picture/thinly-veiled critique of capitalism. Ethan Hawke continues to prove he's one of finest of the craft. I wish every movies with 100x the budget could look as beautiful as this.

Friendly reminder that the sitting POTUS, who bragged on the radio about having the tallest building in Manhattan hours after the Towers fell, is not attending his hometown's 9/11 Remembrance Service because he's not allowed to give a speech.

#HotTake Everything surrounding the "Trans People in Sports" topic f*cking sucks. The question, the answers, the reactions to the answers...all terrible. And all over two or three dozen people out of 8 billion.
