My group just finished Big Walk. What an amazing game. The way it ended was also amazing. Don’t miss out on this find a group of four to play it with.

I don't know why I've never seen this mentioned as an 80-year-old cautionary tale about AI. First, I saw this somewhere: "No, there will be other agents doing the review. The point of agentic workflow is to free yourself so you can run more agentic workflows." Then it hit me:

4 brooms carrying buckets of water into an already flooded room; Sorcerer's Apprentice from Disney's Fantasia.

Ok, Big Walk is a big deal. It’s very fun. Don’t look anything up just play with friends. Free if you have a PSN sub, but well worth the small price they are asking.

@qrostar.net About 10 years ago, someone showed me Jelly No Puzzle. I instantly loved how hard it is, how the levels don't feel redundant, and its simplicity. Today, I finally finished the last level. I never asked for or got any hints on how to do them. Thank you so much for this amazing challenge.

So yeah, I’m watching the big short AGAIN. And it strikes me. What an amazing performance from Steve Carell. And he wasn’t nominated for an Oscar. What is it with comedic actors doing amazing dramatic work and not getting nominated for it?

Ok, so don't use Duolingo for Chess. I mean it's got its use to teach some parts of languages. It's kind of fun. Hey, whatever. But many of its chess puzzles or problems are just outright incorrect. This guy researched it. learnthroughstories.substack.com/p/i-tested-8...

I can't recommend this game enough if you like twin-stick shooters. If you aren't so sure about the genre, but like a mind-blowing audio-visual presentation, maybe give it a try. It's on many platforms. store.steampowered.com/app/2105620/...

Del Toro's Pinocchio has a reference to the muppet show opening in it. Not surprising, as Henson's company was involved.

Wow. Got air pods 4 noise cancelling for Christmas from a very kind relative. These things are amazing. They sound great, and connect insanely easily to various phones, just open the pack nearby. And connected to Apple TV, it adjusts so if you turn your head the audio is still placed at the TV.

I saw Autechre in concert last night. Or rather, I didn't. They play one 80-minute piece in total darkness. It was loud, densely layered, and absolutely unrelenting. I passed into some other state of mind and understood the cacophony and the long- and short-lived structures beneath. 10/10.
