If this coming out TODAY of all days isn't a sign, I don't know what is. Iv been waiting on this for like EVER!

Alma Elma @almaelma.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Another game preserved! Day Watch is a sequel to game Night Watch, another game I also preserved. A tactical RPG based on a book series that got its own movies too! Its on my list of games to play! You can find each of them on a very romantic cd site!

Im healing slowly but still feel like crap. So, when things are bad and I'm finding it hard to focus on other games due to how I feel, I always go back to Thief to play some fantastic fan missions. Trying a few new ones now! Lets see how it goes.

Small pick up! Found a weird 4 in 1 Sega Genesis cart that was in pretty rough shape. Its clearly some weird knock off cart that seems to have 4 games just crammed into it I cleaned it up and am about to see if it works and will be documenting my findings here!

Lets play every version of Toy Story 1! Link: almagaming.wolfpack.xyz/gameblogP14.... I grew up with the Genesis version and have some lovely memories attached to it, especially with my grandfather at the time. He'd watch me play it and make funny comments, good times. What version is the best?!

The flu I thought would pass in a few days got worse and now Im full on stuck in bed. Bella has only left me side once since 24 hours ago, and that was to eat, drink and use the litter box. Shes a smart little cookie and can tell something is wrong.

Dice Fantasy has been fully translated! V1.0 is here and it's thanks to Akai that we were able to even get this far! You can now play this game completely in English! I hope you enjoy it! The game has already been put on that very romantic CD place for your pleasure!

Time to sleeve my Wixoss cards! I have been putting this off for a while but its time. I only really have 3 different sleeve colours to pick from sadly but I can make this work!

Alma Elma @almaelma.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Dice Fantasy is now V0.5 ready! It's been preserved and uploaded to a very romantic place for CD's! This took forever to get out thanks to the translation issues but thanks to my friend Alice I ended up making a cool new manual that helps with it! If you give it a play, please tell me how it is!

Alma Elma @almaelma.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Story has been translated and will be touched up tonight. Sadly there is still a huge issue with the in game dialog that I have a friend looking into. I may release a V0.5 version of it depending on what happens so I suspect I am a day or 2 from finishing this now depending on how this goes.

Alma Elma @almaelma.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Well we just hit a gigantic snag. This game is using an internal typeset and that may cause some huge issues with trying to translate a huge chunk of it. Everything was going great because of how much was translated already but being unable to translate items and menus may hurt progress, hard. :(

Translation for Dice Fantasy is going great!

While waiting on some tools I managed to get in a quick session of Toy Story on Genesis since it was the game chosen for this weeks game jam on a server Im in! I lost 5 lives but got there in the end! I remember the struggle as a kid! Always made it to Pizza Planet then dead x-x

Next game I plan to translate: Dice Fantasy! A dice based battle game where you try to find an object in a level to advance to the next one. There are 4 different characters with different endings and apparently unlockables too! The project starts today!

Before Metroid Prime there was The Divide: Enemies Within! Link: almagaming.wolfpack.xyz/gameblogP14.... Here is a game I don't really see talked about online but could be pointed to as proto Metroid Prime. It has the elements and gameplay flow of it for sure! Is it good though? Find out!

Blood Bros. is a fun shooting-gallery arcade game, a sequel to Cabal from the same developers. Me and @almaelma.bsky.social played it together the other day; we particularly enjoyed the cowboy-and-Indian duo’s victory dance at the end of each level!

Reunited with my beloved pup in Castaway, an indie Zelda-alike that I picked up the other day! The story mode is tiny and can be finished in 20 minutes, the main attraction is the roguelite Tower mode that you unlock after the credits.

I've started my next translation project...kinda. The game Corum: Another Story was on my list and I even started making progress thanks to Akai but then I find out its the 4th game in a series of other games! Id rather translate them in order but we will see what happens.

Alma Elma @almaelma.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

A HUGE thank you to Akai for helping with this. Without their tools I wouldn't even have been able to touch this. They made awesome software and fixes for PC games and just PC in general. Check our their github here: github.com/hiirotsuki

IT IS DONE! V1.0 of Zlatogory 2: Cold Heaven is done being translated. Everything is in English and playable! I hope that some of you check out the whole trilogy of games before getting to this one, since its the last one. You can find it on a very romantic CD site I curate!

Alma Elma @almaelma.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

What do you think of the death message for the game I'm translating. Too on the nose?

1102

Alma Elma @almaelma.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

So Zlatogorje is a game series I preserved recently and after preserving what I thought was just 2 games, I found out there's an expansion to the 2nd one that just was never translated into English. So, Imma do it myself then! I will be translating Zlatogorje 2: Cold Heaven to English!

Today I will be reviewing TWO games today on the site! Roswell Conspiracies on PS1 and Silver Surfer on NES! Link 1: almagaming.wolfpack.xyz/gameblogP14.... Link 2: almagaming.wolfpack.xyz/gameblogP14.... RC was from a game jam I did and Silver was from the wheel. Are they good though? Find out!

Zool was one of those Amiga platformers that I never really got on with at the time; the limited visibility and unfair enemy placement made it feel harder than it should have been. So I’m happy to report that Zool Redimensioned fixes pretty much all of that and is really fun to play! 😁

Next game to beat: Silver Surfer on NES! Iv been preserving games for a while now, I think its time to actually play something! This landed on my wheel and I know for a fact this is an infamous game. Since bed's soon I guess tonight is going to be feeling out the game. Lets go!

Time to review SWAT: Global Strike Team! Link: almagaming.wolfpack.xyz/gameblogP14.... Did you know there was a SWAT game on Xbox and PS2? It's not very well known but is in the SWAT universe! It features more arcadey like gameplay that plays a bit more loose. Is it good though? Find out!

Time to install this sound card into the 3.1 computer I found a while back! That's the computer I cut my finger on and didn't see until I felt a tingle on it and saw it was completely full of blood! Ow. This is going to be an awesome 3.1 when I'm done with it!

The Phantasy Star Online Episode 3 Download Quests have amazing storys to them. You gotta save the bosses at Sega because of a deal they have with Game Informer! You think they sent Yuji Naka or Naoto Ohshima out on this mission? You think Yuji found out too much and that's why he's in jail?

Let's check out Magic the Gathering on Dreamcast! Link: almagaming.wolfpack.xyz/gameblogP14.... We never got this game here in the west for some reason. Why? Who knows. All I know is that this is basically the Yu-Gi-Oh!: Forbidden Memories of Magic. Does it have the same flaws though? Find out!

How are you all? I have been kinda down as of late. When I get down I tend to avoid my socials. I beat X-Men legends on Xbox while I have been to myself and want to post my review on Magic on Dreamcast soon. These down bouts are happening a lot more now. I wish I knew how to get out of it faster.

Iv been feeling down so its time to game post! Hexx: Heresy of the Wizard is a dungeon crawler published by Psygnosis and what you get when you mix Ultimate Underworld with Eye of the Beholder. It's sadly known for being a bit buggy and hard to run but I put a version online that works! Must try!

This trailer was fucking awful. Good lord is the writing one of the most annoying "mentally stunted 2nd grader that only watched movies made in the past 7 years" ever. Why are companys continuing to give people who dont care about an IP a chance to create something for it? This fucking sucks.

A hilarious discover was made today for the game Hazard (1998) on PC thanks to my helper The Binary Warrior! If you try to start the game without a CD you get your classic "Insert the CD" error. BUT if you hold down the keys F U C K while running it, it will just start fine!

Next game to beat: Magic the Gathering on Dreamcast! Recently an English patch was released for the game and after it updated a few times, it's now time for me to dive in! I love TCGs so this is absolutely up my ally. I hear its the Forbidden Memorys of MtG. I hope so!

My translation of the 1999 PC game Buster Sword is FINALLY done! It's a bullet hell game where you can combine over 20 items to make over 7000 combinations of weapon types to fight enemys with! You can find this translation on a certain Romantic CD site or you can PM me for the DL link!

Me and @amyfluidgoth.gamingfluid.co.uk beat Twinbee Rainbow Bell Adventure with a whopping 29% clear! Wow we really missed a lot! That said this game is amazing and from what I hear got completely butchered in the west because of course it did. I had a ton of fun with my favourite lightning queen❤️

I am once again begging anyone who sees this to not get GTA 6 or support Sony anymore. This is beyond video games, its about preservation of human art and Sony wants to take the steps to destroy it. Please don't let Sony win. If you think this just stops at video games, it wont. It never does.

Please dont pre-order GTA 6 and if you did please cancel it. I'm literally begging here. Please. This game needs to fail, or at least sell poorly, for the gaming industry to have any chance at healing from this all digital nightmare hell. Please. Pretty please. This is serious.
