The nurse at the surgery place said pineapple helps with bruising following a facial surgery, so I'm currently eating a fuck-ton of pineapple against my will.

This is the last full week before my first surgery in a series of three. The nerves are getting higher but so is my excitement. It's something I've been wanting to do for a very long time, and when all is said and done it's going to improve my quality of life tremendously. 😮‍💨

Very shocking to hear about Chad Gilbert’s death. He had some rather… dubious behavior, to put it lightly, especially when it comes to women. But mainly I’m thinking about how he was so young, dying of cancer at 45 and leaving a 5-year-old daughter behind. 😕
