I love being able to help people create cool things. This is legitimately the coolest job in the world and I'll give up health insurance and guaranteed hours 1000 times over to be doing this instead of working in a warehouse all day

010

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

tbh, moving to full time event production has been very nerve wracking. The work is harder than ever at a time when gigs are not very certain or don't pay well. But, my clients will send me things they're working on and it's like "oh right, this is why I did this"

110

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

Y'all are not prepared for how excited I'm going to be on tour this summer. I'm gonna be rabid, bouncing all over the place. I'm ready to be behind a merch table again!!! We've got so many cool things planned!!!!!!

131

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

I’m so used to being the one hungry to learn from more experienced judges, so to have an event where I get to offer the things I’ve learned and build connections with new judges is so cool

020

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

Riftbound has brought in a lot of people who have never judged another game before. One of the really neat things about this is that many of them are so hungry to learn how big events work. Even as just a floor judge this weekend, I’m having a lot of fun giving advice to and mentoring them

Amidst the chaos, we’re pleased to whisper that it has been a full year since the Gaslight District PILOT first crept into the world. It hasn’t been forgotten. Their turn will come… in time

When I said I had cool things coming up, this is one of the things I meant! It’s so been so much fun helping Bill coordinate this project. I can’t wait for everyone to hear what he’s been cooking!!

if someone tells you I was almost late to a meeting today because I was playing Slay the Spire, don’t listen to them!! And even if I was, I was still on time!! it literally doesn’t even matter than it got pushed back 15 minutes!!

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

I had a great time at LDXP Tacoma last weekend! I got to judge both Champs and the 10k! So glad to be doing events again 😊

"yeah I just got fired from m-" "'launched' from your job 😊"

010

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

My one judge-ism that I bring everywhere is when anybody says an event "fired" I pause them and say "launched"

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

I went to my first live show in over a year and I’ve got the touring bug again. pls let me be on the road again. im very good at selling merchandise and advancing with venues 🥺

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

I yearn to be behind a merch table at a live show

110

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

I really care about events like this and am trying to live up to a standard I’ve seen from the literal best in the world in this field. I know I’ve got a long way to go to get to that level, but it’s nice to know that my hard work and dedication to improvement is being recognized

030

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

I got a lot of compliments this weekend; from players, judges, staff, and the tournament organizer. While I do recognize the areas I could have done better with, I’m choosing to focus on the positivity. I worked very hard in a really tough (and brand new to me!) role and managed to do a great job!

120

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

This was my first time in this type of role and I'm very grateful for the opportunity. I feel like I learned so much. Our team launched more ODEs than the previous two RQs combined, and still they were able to keep up with a smile on their faces the whole weekend. Truly a great weekend!

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

Another event in the books! I got to be the Deputy Head Judge for On Demand Events at Riftbound Regional Qualifier Las Vegas! Can you tell how busy I was from the lack of pictures? 😜

Very excited to judge more events this year! Maybe I’ll even be at events for games not named Magic or Riftbound (:

030

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

I’m not quite used to this multiple events per month schedule yet and I definitely felt like I was phoning it in, so it was nice to hear some words of encouragement. I still can’t shake the feeling that I could’ve done better, but I’m glad to know my high standards are paying off

130

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

Over the weekend, I got to do three days of Comp REL at SCG Milwaukee, including my first time on coverage team! As I was leaving the hotel today, one of the red shirts stopped me to tell me the RC head judges were impressed with my performance and glad to have me on the team

150

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 21/02/2026

Sometimes I see job postings for steady careers with reasonably high salaries that have some relation to my major and I think “hmm, maybe I should apply.” But then I hear a really good song from someone I’m working with and I remember that this is the coolest fucking job ever

030

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

Just on Saturday. I will be the best judge spotter SCG has ever seen 😤

010

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

I’m gonna be on feature match coverage this weekend in Milwaukee :3

Some pictures from SCG Portland! I did something a little different this weekend and was an assistant vendor for an artist instead of judging. Another incredibly fun weekend in the books. Very grateful to have such a cool job (:

051

Ally Rose @allyrosemgmt.bsky.social · 13/01/2026

Okay, I can at least talk about the February events now! I’ll be floor judging at Spotlight Series Toronto, Calling San Diego, and SCGCON Milwaukee! I’ll also be team leading at Riftbound Regional Qualifier Vegas! Very, very excited to be so busy (:
