Reading #IanPenman 's book on #ErikSatie in the smart, austere Fitzcarraldo Editions. Got me looking out Max Paddison's 1981 translation of "Memoirs of an Amnesiac": typescript in a highly-coloured cover which time has rendered strange by light fading.
Two books, the left with no cover title, just a stuck-on screenprint reusing Picasso's drawing of Erik Satie, and which has acquired grey/blue shadowing from an adjacent book. The right-side book cover is just title-author-publisher info printed on a white background.
