My neighbor just bought a small retirement house. With the moving van following to meet them at the new place…. their money and paperwork had yet to be actually transferred! It took 3 hours to resolve it. The paperwork to transmit was just on a desk and that person had taken a sick day on Friday. 😳

Both Fulton and DeKalb shelters are over capacity for dogs (less dire for cats and kittens). Don’t call or email. Just go, as they’re overloaded. Foster, adopt, Dog for the Day, Weekend Warrior. Everything helps. Cats & kittens are 2 for $25, and Free Dog Friday all summer.

I’m sorry for your loss. My father asked his wife not to advise us of his death until after his funeral. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We learned a little about what his life was like as an older adult versus a young-ish man who bailed out of parenthood. It was very odd.

Not a fan of fire since, we too, had an apartment fire as a child. Decades later, I worked as a planner for the city’s Fourth of July events. After seeing the results of injuries from firefighters and pyrotech guys…I loathe that everyday people can buy/light them. You had every right! Hug sent.
