even just at TL9, the military android is really good. base ST 20, tons of built in abilities, Injury Tolerance (Unliving), optional Combat Reflexes and ETS, DR 30 (plus worn armor). enough to put them on even footing with low-mid supers in my setting even before weapons and armor

(thought about making a new thread but ill just keep extending this); i had a basic idea for (cheap, low quality) guns made in the city, pick a small metal pipe that would be plentiful in the city [NPS 1/8?], build guns around that, so heres a pistol and carbine in 8.5mm built using GURPS Gun Stats

remembering why i decided to limit supers in zebs setting based (mainly) on their offense/defense instead of points and.its because you can build a planet killer for under 4k (zeb is ~1600 points currently and can barely reliably fight a modern tank)

3 AM, can't sleep, making spreadsheets for the superhero setting. It's a bit messy and the TL8 stuff is heavily simplified since I didn't want to list two hundred guns, but it gets the point across. The armor one was obviously quicker (literally like five minutes).

Also I wasn't joking about making a really fucking huge list of way too many weapons in GURPS for comparative purposes. A huge amount of stuff from High-Tech (mostly just whatever I thought was relevant or a useful reference point), plus most TL9+10 weapons from UT, including a few ammo options.

Most of my relevant and recent OCs (that i have solid dick sizes for and have good pictures to be put on a chart) left to right; Jeht, Killer, Barley, Algol, [unnamed], Missile and Hunter. (also all these sizes are relative but describing any of my characters as "short" just feels wrong)

part two is "actually design the armor", it turns out that while protecting against small arms is fairly easy (an FAL firing 7.62x51 only maxes at 42 damage), further protection (compared to .50 BMG) runs up against the limits of the design system, the best TL9 material only allows up to 70 DR

i am now messing with the armor design rules, part one "how much surface area does this guy even have" is answered with "less than i expected", the real world math says ~105 and the official rules say ~120 and i went with 120 because he is very big so i think that's fair
